25.01.2022 This Sunday 12th June is St Anthony Mass at 9.30am followed by procession and the blessing of the Bread. Then over to the Hall for a Shared Lunch. PLEASE BRING A PLATE TO SHARE WITH EVERYONE. Make sure you all say a Prayer to St Anthony so we have Nice weather for the Day.

24.01.2022 Filipino Singing Priests has been rescheduled. Saturday 2nd July at 3.00pm in the St Mel's Church (not the hall as previously advertised). But don't forget to vote first!!!!!! Federal election on the same day. If you have purchased tickets just keep them.... If you would like to go and still don't have a ticket please come into Parish office to purchase. Cost $30.00 and children under 12 free. Hope to see you all there. See more

24.01.2022 Weekend was busy. Saturday we held Fr Brian Cahill 25th ordination Anniversary. On Sunday our children received Confirmation and First Holy Communion. It was beautiful to see the children all dressed up. The excitement on the day was high. Bishop Leslie was there to celebrate with us. Please keep praying for the children and there Families.

22.01.2022 It is exciting when our Youth in the Parish are getting involved. We had Vivienne & Hollie being Commission as Special Ministers and Readers today. May God bless them today and always

21.01.2022 We welcome Fr Joven back from his hoildays. Rested and ready to go. He has a busy weekend ahead. Friday Mass at 9.15am Saturday mass at 9.00am followed by reconciliation. Sunday at 9.30am is the feast of St Anthony and Mass at 5.30pm.... Monday (public hoilday) Concert for a cause- (tickets still available from Parish office or at the door on the day). See more

17.01.2022 Hi to all just a reminder that on the Saturday 29th October St Mel's Parish has Bishop Mark Edwards coming to visit the Parish. We start of at 10am with Adoration and Rosary followed by Mass and lunch provided. The Bishop Marks will give a talk followed by various activities. ALL WELCOME YOUNG AND YOUNG AT HEART. 17.01.2022 Concert for a Cause which was to be on this Monday 13th June at 3.00pm has been postponed to a later date. More information to follower when we have it.

16.01.2022 Everything is ready to go for our St Anthony Feast tomorrow. Thankyou to everyone who took time out today to set up the church and hall

13.01.2022 Our St Anthony Feast went off well. The weather was beauitful St Anthony answered our prayers. Thankyou to everyone who contributed to the day, from the readers, choir, protectionist, special ministers, rosary, MC, food donations, Dancers, Sacramental children, Sacrity, to the helpers at the hall, if i have forgotten you thankyou as well. We all deceive a big rest tomorrow.

12.01.2022 Today is 1st November all Saints Day and tomorrow is the 2nd of November all Souls Day. St Mel's Parish is holding Mass and Rosary today at the Pine Lodge Cemetery at 9.30am And tomorrow at the Shepparton Cemetery at 9.30am for all Souls Day. All welcome to come. Then on the 2nd of November at 7.00pm at the St Mel's Church we are holding a memorial Mass for our loved ones that have passed. It is a time to remember our loved ones. May they all rest in peace

11.01.2022 PLEASE TAKE NOTE: due to Fr Joven not returning this week as planned, as his doctor has asked him to stay another week to make sure that he is 100%. The 9 day novena for St Anthony which was to start this Friday 3rd June till the 11the June is cancelled due to the fact we have no priest. But the St Anthony Feast on the 12th June will go as planned.

11.01.2022 On Sunday 19th June the Sacramental children presented their confirmation name to Father and the Parish community.

09.01.2022 We have started the next part of our sacramental program Confirmation. Tonight we had our Adult night on confirmation and Baptism. You see our parents working hard on a given task, The Children can't have all the fun!!!

08.01.2022 Today St Mel's shepparton is holding the feast of San Lorenzo de Manila. 9.30am Mass followed by Rosary and then lunch at school Hall all welcome to come.

04.01.2022 We have a St Anthony Feast on Wednesday 1st June at 7.00pm in the Parish house. If you would like to be involved or help please join us at the meeting. More hands make like work.

02.01.2022 This Sunday is our Confirmation and first Holy Communion at the 9.30 Mass . Bishop Leslie will be visiting our Parish. The Children are all excited and are looking forward to the day. They spent a day at the Parish house yesterday. Looks like they had lots of fun. Thankyou to all that help with the reflection day. Please pray for the children and there Families as they head towards Sunday. Also pray for a sunny day and No rain.

01.01.2022 On Monday 15th August is the feast day of the Assumption of Mary. We will have 3 Masses on that day - 8.00am, 12.00pm with school and 7.00pm all welcome to come.
