24.01.2022 Open again tomorrow from 8am.

23.01.2022 The first of the new model R6101 Red Dot rooftop systems we have fitted. The original system on this Transtar was in poor condition to the point where it was more cost effective than repairing it. This unit contains everything except the compressor in a small rooftop unit, drawing and cooling the hottest air from the highest point in the cab while using cool clean ambient air through the condenser.

23.01.2022 **UPDATE** The addition of North Star and Croppa Creek postcodes into the border zone has increased the clients we can get to without having to quarantine but there are still many in the 2400 and 2402 postcodes that haven’t been included. If there is no further change the below plan will still apply: We're working on ways to keep you moving, on both sides of the border.... We have applications in with the QLD Chief Health Commissioner, we are also hoping for a reasonable solution to allow us to travel freely to our customers before we need to split up our team and our family. If there is no easing of the current directive, we are planning: -Scott will move to within the 2409 postcode. -Initially, he will plan a pre-harvest run seeing customers outside of the border bubble. -Once this work is completed, he will work within the 2408, 2409 and 2411 postcodes for 14 days until he can reenter Queensland as a border resident -As harvest approaches, Scott plans to move back into NSW for breakdown support. A large proportion of our customers are based in NSW, our main focus going forward is continuing to support all of our customers. Please give us a call on 0746 711 044 if you have pre-harvest or other work you need done. We'll plan our dates and let you know when we'll be down to you.

22.01.2022 With harvest started for some or just around the corner for others.....Malcolm and I are busy today doing some last minute prep for harvest. Installing shelving in our 3rd field service vehicle to hold all necessary parts, tools and equipment. We know the importance of having fully equipped service vehicles - it saves us time and unnecessary trips Also making the most of the last day of school holidays in QLD

20.01.2022 Mooney Auto Electrical dinner. Congratulating Sam on completing his apprenticeship (a few months ago, celebrations delayed due to Covid), and farewelling Tim as he heads off on another adventure! Thanks for all your hard work fellas, we really appreciate it!

19.01.2022 Winter has arrived - it is common for batteries to fail in cold weather. Don’t get caught out - drop in to Mooney Auto Electrical for a free battery test and a replacement if required. And only 5 working days until the end of financial year, so good timing! We stock ALCO, Ritar and Enex batteries, to fit most cars, trucks and machinery.

18.01.2022 Good lighting and good air con are pretty vital during harvest. The good news is we fix them both! Some great feedback on these lights we upgraded on this JD header.

18.01.2022 Some great feedback about these lights we added to a Patriot sprayer for a client at Yallaroi. We added some extra worklights and some blue lights behind the nozzles to highlight the spray pattern and make it easier to see if they’re working. What a huge difference it makes!

17.01.2022 A Sunday call out north west of town - before the rain hit

16.01.2022 With our ability to service NSW Clients in doubt again due to CoVid, Tim has been busy this last week getting some jobs completed over the border. This Goldacres sprayer has some shiny new lights to make it’s nights easier. Scott dropped in on a couple of clients last week to assess the existing lighting on their machines and work out the best use of additional lights to fill the gaps. We also added some blue lights under the boom to better show the nozzle pattern. The result is a huge improvement on visibility from the cab. Check it out!

15.01.2022 Our workshop will be open tomorrow (Saturday) 8 - 12. However we will be closed Monday for the public holiday. A reminder we do have a tradesman on call for urgent jobs - 0429 678 601. Thanks, and have a great weekend!

10.01.2022 Our favourite place on Earth - the Tulloona plains. #godscountry

09.01.2022 While we can’t currently get over the border, we can still assist to diagnose faults over the phone and send parts your way. Today we sent parts out on freight to Croppa Creek store for one of our clients at Crooble. Thanks to these two local businesses for your assistance! We have been working on a solution to these border restrictions, so stay tuned.

08.01.2022 7 years of Mooney Auto Electrical today! What a ride it has been! Thank you to our incredible team for all your hard work. And a huge thanks to all who have supported our business over the years - we love our community!

08.01.2022 A line up of jobs in our workshop today, plus a few out in the field. A welcome sight! #mooneyautoelectrical #workshopandfieldservice

08.01.2022 A favourite photo of mine from a few years ago on our farm. One of the best sights, and best times of the year. Encouraging to see some showers around on the weekend. Share a pic of your winter crop for 2020

06.01.2022 With the sun setting on harvest for most of our clients, we would like to thank you for the support, and allowing us to play a small part in your operation. Hands down the best time of the year. We love it, and fingers crossed for a bin buster next year. In the meantime, it’s heating up - give us a bell if your AC isn’t keeping you cool!!

02.01.2022 Telling our story, hoping to see some positive change in the current border situation. Thanks for the support we have received - customers calling and very kindly offering Scott a place to stay while working down south, and many customers calling to book in work for when we do head down that way. It’s times like these we feel grateful to be a part of this community.
