25.01.2022 TAKE NOTE RE: HOMEBUILDER GRANT The Australian Govt Treasury Department has announced: Anyone wishing to apply for the $25,000.00 HomeBuilder Grant MUST sign their Building Contracts before 31 December 2020... The Grant amount for Building Contracts signed between 1 January 2021 and 31 March 2021 is $15,000.00 The date for lodgement of all applications for the HomeBuilder Grant has been extended to 14 April 2021 The time for commencement of construction for all applications has been extended to 6 months from the date of the Building Contract. 21.01.2022 HomeBuilder Program......... For those who own or are purchasing vacant land, now might be the time to fast track your Building Contract to take advantage of the new HomeBuilder Program. The HomeBuilder Program is a time-limited grant program to help the residential construction market to bounce back from the Coronavirus crisis and provides eligible owner-occupiers (including first home buyers) with a grant of $25,000 to build a new home or substantially renovate an existin...g home. The Building Contract must be signed between 4 June 2020 and 31 December 2020 and construction must commence within three months of the contract date. HomeBuilder will complement existing State and Territory First Home Owner Grant programs, stamp duty concessions and other grant schemes, as well as the Commonwealth’s First Home Loan Deposit Scheme and First Home Super Saver Scheme. 15.01.2022 On 29 November 2020, the Government announced an extension to the HomeBuilder program. $25,00000 HOMEBUILDER GRANT The deadline for applications for the $25,000.00 HomeBuilder Grant has been extended to 14 April 2021, however the Build Contract date has not changed and must have been entered into prior to 31 December 2021.
