22.01.2022 Day 1 of 7 of the horse challenge (again) One of the BEST photos I have ever taken... This is Stockhaven Harmony as a foal with her mother, Renral Glamour. Glam...our was one of the best cutting out horses Peter has ever ridden, she was by Joken. Blossom as we called her, was by Bluff Downs Jake and has been one of our best broodmares. She has bred me quite a few great foals, a couple more to come (hopefully), the old girl is turning 22 this year..... Would have had a lot more rides on her, but she injured her eye one time when we were all away from home. I just love her, she was a Christmas present from Mum and Peter the year I turned 18. 01.01.2022 Don’t forget we are holding an Open Day here at 962 Kingaroy Burrandowan Rd on Saturday November 28. Our stallion Stockman Jackman will be on display, also two of his progeny plus foals by Glencoe Last Word, Doongara Manpower and Karmans Eagles Tribute. Plus we have a guest speaker talking on colour genetics in horses. All this plus a sausage sizzle and a brief AGM for our South Burnett ASHS.

01.01.2022 Day 3 of 7 the horse challenge (again) I dont seem to have a picture of me riding this mare, but I did spend a lot of time with her and riding her, but I love t...his picture. This mare, Bluff Downs Cassette, gave me the best introduction into the ASH world one could ever have. She could do anything that was asked of her, was a kind mare, but ALWAYS went around with her ears back...it let her down in so many ways, but we still managed to win a lot. At my first National ASH Show (Chinchilla 1995) I won the Juvenile Rider Class, Best Educated Hack 15-15.2HH (I think it was) and I got a second place in something else. I rode her at night sporting events, hacking, ASH classes, everything.....any of us could and did jump on her and go for a ride or do something competitive. We have plenty of memories and stories involving 'Cass', 'Chisel Head' or 'Cassette'.....what a lovely horse she was..... I nominate Tracy Walker See more
