Cold drinks. Great raffles. Free Tea and coffee. But wait there is MORE Movie night for the kids - big and little with free popcorn, Perhaps bring a comfy chair or picnic rug. but wait there is MORE Drought relief support information will be available, but wait there is MORE Come early and c...atch the Lockyer in the Wild Nature Photography Exhibition showing local photographers' images of the Lockyer Valley's native flora and fauna. Run by our local group LUCI. Featuring over 140 photographs, the Exhibition opens at 5:30pm and LVRC Mayor and local business sponsors will be attending to present awards for the winning photographs. So much happening - I hope you will be a part of it. - See you Friday. The hall is also booked out for hire on Saturday, so your help with cleaning up towards the end of the evening will be very much appreciated. Thanks. Next Event - Christmas Party Friday 6th December. 18.01.2022 DATE CHANGE - The committee has decided to change the date of the Hot Dish Night - we have postponed it for one week - Hot Dish Night - Sat 10th August. Hot Dish Night - Bring along whatever you were going to have for dinner and share it with friends and neighbours. If you don't like cooking - Feel free to call past the Cheesecake shop. Drinks will be served, or BYO. This event is very casual and informal. I hope to see you all there. Changing the date will allow us to s...upport the Helidon RSL's Trivia night on the 3rd of August. Probably a good time, with this colder weather, to be having a bit of a de-clutter and get a few things together for the Twilight Markets and BBQ on SAT - 5th October. Only $10 for a site - you can book from now. Markets, community garage sale, car boot sale. Our September Function is a community favourite - the Friday night BBQ - FRIDAY the 6th Sept - hopefully it will be wet, and we will have to move inside..

12.01.2022 What a fun afternoon and early evening we all had on Australia Day! I am yet to sort all the photos, but will heave them up soon. Congrats to all the winners, and losers of all the races and games. :) A couple of records broke in the thong throwing - we may need to move the start line back for next year..

11.01.2022 Catherine Burton as asked me to post here that her mum, Zillah Burton, passed away this week and her thanksgiving service will be on Thursday 31st of October at St James in Toowoomba at 1 o'clock.
