25.01.2022 We had a great day yesterday at the lodge after easing of restrictions with our neighbours! Fantastic sausages and good company!

22.01.2022 Finally a break in the weather so the painters can continue expecting 3 days of work ahead. Currently the front of the garage is being done and just waiting for dew to dry for first coat on the back roof? Yah!!

22.01.2022 The world is still in crisis but our Tully chooses to sleep!

17.01.2022 So today the job is pretty much done! The lodge looks fantastic and the work is exceptional. Our thanks go out to Nathan an his team from 5 Star Painting, well done guys, with thanks, Stokers Lodge.

16.01.2022 Day 3 and green is slowly disappearing, getting excited about the new look!

13.01.2022 So work continues here at the lodge, we are resealing the floors in the ensuite and laying marble tile. Looking forward to the result however this is an area not seen normally by the public

11.01.2022 Day 2 filling, priming and masking, the process begins!

11.01.2022 Feels like the dead of winter here at the lodge. Just received our 19th century copper baking dish in perfect working order to add to our collection, stunning! No decision as to a reopening date but stay watching and stay safe!

09.01.2022 Still picking up great finds! Copper jelly moulds Alsas, France. There are many mid century copper moulds you see in thrift stores for $5 $10 and $20 however this is 19th century and tin lined, very chuffed!

07.01.2022 The next step in the process of retiling the ensuite is to re enforce the mortar bed. The tiles originally failed because of cracks that had appeared over the last 40 years so to remedy this a 2 coat process of membrane re enforcing is applied. Once complete tiles can be played without fear of cracking, another step done!

06.01.2022 Day 6 and the boys are doing a great job! Started spraying the roof and second coats on some arears plus still first coats on some trim. Garage doors have been repaired and electrician has disconnected the old lights so painters can get started, all looking great!

06.01.2022 So it is with mixed emotion that we wish to advise you all that Stokers Lodge has been sold and we will be departing on the 10th Dec for new adventures! We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our valued guests and supporters over the last 6 years of trade, its been a roller-coaster of great times, renovations and change.
