23.01.2022 I have decided on a stone look for the speaker boxes. Dimensions are 2.5m high, .6m wide and .7m deep. Also matching Audio racks to be made 2.8m wide, 50mm thick and 600mm deep.

16.01.2022 Speaker moulds are underway. Moulded the internal edges (not in photos). Boxes are 2.45m x .6 x .6... Plenty of volume for the 10 drivers Next step is adding the foam for the speaker recesses and cutouts. Easier to mould than cut the GFRC later. Still thinking about a hand press effect. Issue is the size of the boxes are so large you have drying issues doing it before the structural layers. Thinking of doing the face as a hand press and sides as a spray coat. Even full spray which would keep the weight down a bit as you are only adding a 4mm face instead of 10mm to 15mm Will make that decision soon enough once the moulds are complete These will be very imposing speakers

15.01.2022 2.8 meter x .06 m x 0.05 m hifi racks in hand press finish GFRC. Very happy with the outcome. The hand press finish gives that weathered industrial look with a stone look. Back to the 5 way active speakers in GFRC
