10.01.2022 A heads up to all our fantastic followers that we have decided not to go ahead with the weekly markets at Willie Smiths until further notice - we'll continue to... monitor the situation and keep you up to date with our decisions. However, food still needs to get from our fields and onto your plates! We've compiled a list of retailers and producers where you can buy local produce - either from farm gate, veg box deliveries or direct. We'll keep this list updated as things go. - Unpacked wholefoods in Kingston. - Valley Fresh Farm are opening up farm gate sales: 52 Conlans Rd, Huonville (enter from Knights Rd). Spray free tomatoes and veggie seedlings. - Provenance Growers (Neika) have great varieties at their farm gate stall. - Harvest Feast, like Provenance, are being impacted by the closure of Salamanca Markets and are investigating alternate sites for their sales and possibly boxes. - Geeveston Community Centre Inc (GeCo / Scrubby Hill Farm) offer veg boxes and are considering opening a pop-up farm gate service. - Our Mates' Farm have heritage apples, apple juice and dried apples on their stall: 291 Arve Road Geeveston. - Cygnet Garden Larder showcase local seasonal produce where available all year, so if you're not already a member, consider joining up. - Longley Organic Farm. Veg boxes to May and farm gate sales. - Dave's Seedlings - bypass the supermarkets and grow your own larder
