25.01.2022 Well he has slipped a cog!!!! Dougal with only six this week has been joined at the top by the merino man Bimerah Mick who had a blinder with 12 and they are out in front now on 136. Griffo and Jim are still maintaining their consistency and coming in next on 134 with 5 people right on their hammer on 132. Remember one slip and you're gone. 24.01.2022 Well Well Well winner winner lamb roast dinner We've been shorn,we've been crutched ,we've been wigged and ringed and in the final round he rammed it home. Merino Mick takes home the chocolates this year in the footy tipping with a final tally of 250, In second place was Jim who has been hot on Mick's tail all year and only finished up one win behind on 248. Third goes to the Headmaster Corey on 244 a mighty effort from the AFL exponent who made the swi...tch in codes this year and kicked us between the sticks. Been a great comp and a lot of fun had by all with a race between 6 until the end. 23.01.2022 WOW Well some big scores for round 8 last week but none bigger than Bull who came up with a baby last week and this week he has been working on a full house and came up with a perfect score of 16 to top off the week, not to be outdone the Headmaster also went to the top of the class with 16 out of 16 and it captapulted him into second place to join Bull and Grant all tied up on 88.Gaelle was the third full house this week to leave the publican lamenting the one... that got away. Still out in the lead showing the way is the Honourable Rodger who stumbled slightly last week to give his constituents a sniff of victory but still holds the majority on 90. Next best is Julie and Dougal colluding their way to join Merino Mick on 86. Ned Kelly and Molong Man best of the southerners jumping the border to end up on 80 with still a lot of footy yet to play. Tips all in Cock a doodle do Borders open Corona on its way Broncs or Bulls Storm specials Headmaster = visitors Dont forget tips in by Thursday Long way to go See more

Ned Kelly leads the way for the cockroaches and with his tips in yesterday is keen to bridge the gap.... Will send a text out tomorrow to remind you to get your tips in if you forget away teams for you. Broncs and Eels to start us off tomorrow dont forget the draw has changed so have a look before you send em in. 21.01.2022 Well another couple of weeks down for the tipping comp and still the Honourable Roger is leading the way with 130 consolidating on his majority rule and at this stage he seems unstoppable. Coming in second is still Grant who is cock a hoot this week after cleaning out the bookies at the races last week and he is settling in on the rails to be 124 half way down the straight . Hot on his heels in third being blocked for a run is Merino Mick , Julie , Dougal and t...he Headmaster all on 122 then comes The Big Bahwahna, Jim ,Eron and Callum H who must be lost out on the fence line somewhere as we havent seen him since Jade left and theyre all in on 116. Best of the southerners are Ned Kelly and Molong Man chiming in with 112. Well people Ive done a lot of things with dogs over the years Ive barked at sheep like a dog, Ive howled at the moon like a dog , Ive eaten dog ,Ive done a few other things like a dog to,but Ive never been happier to see someone let the dogs out last week, because prior to that the publican was looking down the barrel at 13 full houses and thankfully no one tipped the dogs woof woof. Rabbits up Tigers inconsistent Broncos nearly Roosters easy Raiders safe Panthers on the prowl Tips in by Thursday Storm specials Broncos next week Nutrien Western - Remy + Georgia Dogs back on the chain See more
19.01.2022 WELL WE ARE UNDER A BATTATTACK The Footy tipping comp for the 2020 season is done and dusted at Stonehenge for another year and we have come up with a winner. The inaugural tipping comp was won by the Batt’sat Eldwick then in year 2 it was the Sparky James who hoot shoot and electrocuted us all for the win Year 3 saw a break in the traffic with Merino Mickwigging and ringing us for the win but in the 4th year in the history of Stonehenge... Tipping the chalice has once again been passed back to the Battdynasty and it is the Honourable Roger who started with the majority moved onto a mandate and ended up with a dictatorship and gave us a right royal Jolly Rogering to end up on top with a record score of 244 points. Congratulations Roger. Grant who has been through it all this year with the demise of his Broncos to the loss of his license (twice)to Jade going back to England to Kirsty leaving early because of Corona but through it all his rock has been holding onto 2nd place in the footy tipping a position he has held since round 4 but alas at the final hurdle he has stumbled and a 4 in the last round opened the gate for the Headmasterto bring it home in the last round with a big tenner and draw level with Grant to both finish up in second on 234. Well the Headmaster has been punching above his weight for a while but he has taken to the footy tipping comp at Stonehenge like a Yella Belly to his shrimp as the AFL exponent ran a big third last year improving up one this year to second look out next year. Coming in behind the top 3 were Gum Creek Cam who came home with a late charge but to little to late and the Crusher King Dougal got dusted and ground to a halt to both finish on 232. Great to see the southerners join our comp this year and it was Molong Man who lead the way south of the border on a 228. Poor Riley found himself on the bottom of the ladder, did your knee found a girl it’s not all bad mate come into the pub and I’ll shout you a six pack to lift your spirits with some Stonehenge Gold. Has been a great year for the tipsters with 2 engagements and a couple of babies on the way. 20th of December School is booming under the tutelage of the Headmaster Season been ok Wool down Cattle up Storm Publican milked of 16 six packs wow thats 4 cartons Tell your mates for next year more players the bigger the purse Keep an eye out for the publicans purse during the State of Origin competition Been a great year thank you all for your support until next time remember EAT MORE MUTTON YOU BASTARDS See more
18.01.2022 130 odd mils in the gauge last week the grass is turning green the river is on the run and the sandflies are starting to roam. The river on the crossing is 2.1m making it about.6 over the road . Looking good with hopefully more to follow
18.01.2022 WOW what a HUUUGE night in the old town last night! 69 people turned up to saviour the delights of Tanyas and Moose's Camp Oven Cooking and as always they did not disappoint with a great curry, mouth watering casserole, rice and damper. Perfect to wash it down with some nice cold beers and fantastic company to boot. The result was not in favour with us all but a great game to finish the NRL State of Origin series off. ... - Tips in by Friday - Steam engine was hot - Food was unreal - Better luck next year #queenslander
17.01.2022 Well well well last round of the footy tipping and Merino Mick is still ramming it home with a full house last week to leave him on 240. Jim is out climbing the rock looking for the stairway to heaven to seek some advice on how he can round up Mick in the final round as he sits on 238. Third place on 234 is the Headmaster Corey who has made the transition from AFL to NRL like a pro and he is tied with the old Scorpion Sparky James who patiently is in w...aiting pending the Storks arrival. Next best the Publican looking for some upsets on 230. Three down five to go. Running true to form so far Need upsets Happy birthday Denise Dust city Storm See more
17.01.2022 Merino Mick still leads the comp at the end of last weeks round on 174. Jim has moved to outright second place with a full house 16 for the round and finished on 172 with Dougal all on his lonesome in third on 170. Behind that is a calamity with Ronny,Corey,PhilD and Cam all clambering to climb the ladder to success on 168. Record 4 full housos this week with Jim,Corey,Phil D and Ronny all perfect.... Sharks up Knights down Bunnies rule Publican broke Storm to down Roosters by a hundred See more
17.01.2022 After a big week of upsets last week with most people only picking up a 6 or an 8 it was only the American traveller Grant who bought home a big number 10. However Merino Mick with the wool market crashing all round him is still leading the way on 224, Jim is still clear in second place on 222,and with the cream rising to the top last years winner James who is waiting for the pending arrival has plenty of time to study the form and he has poked into thi...rd place to join the headmaster Corey fresh back from the seven seas carrying his well deserved Emerging Educational Leader award and they are both on 220. The publican and the crusher king Dougal are next on 218. Tips are in Rodeo bucked Last game for the old tiger 60th birthday bash Big bash is coming Storm for minor See more
17.01.2022 WELL WELL WELL it’s been a long hard year for the footy tipping comp but we are all but with one week to go and it is still the Honourable Roger who leads the way. The Publican still crying tears of blood from last week when he had to cough up five six packs for the full houso’s lead by Roger with his 4th full house of the season also fronting up at the bar was Tiger into pick up his 2nd, Molong Man came home empty handed from the ram sale and drowned his sorro...ws with the spoils of his first full house at Stonehenge, Callum H has finally stopped pineing for Jade and started concentrating on the tipping and chimed in with his first for the year albeit too little too late and rounding out the 5th full house is Jim who went missing in the tips for a couple of weeks and we couldn’t work out why as he has been one of our regulars then we saw the announcement and it all became clear he had other things on his mind. Congratulations to Jim and Teegan on your engagement and no better way to celebrate than with a Stonehenge six pack. Last round The Publican was once again saved by the Doggy’s few 14’s but no 16’s Love the Doggy’s!!!! So as we stand going into the final round it is still the Honourable Roger with the mandate on 236, outright 2nd is Grant who once again is on shank’s pony thanks to THAT video on the phone. Third place is still wide open The Headmaster who has a full house of his own this week is in the box seat on 224 but right up his clacker is Gum Creek Cam on 222 who cut loose at the ram sale on Monday I think Jim’s still on the floor , Merino Mick and Dougal on 220 round out the cluster all vying for the money. Some players getting rested this week could make for some interesting results. Tips by Thursday Jim + Teegan = Nice rain Can’t make money out of mud Paula at the pub School’s out Where is Wayne? Reilly better luck next year River running Redclaw on fire Some money better than none Wool on the way up See more
16.01.2022 Well the publican is back and it’s time for an update on the footy tipping . Only been 1 full house in the last couple of rounds and it was Tiger who pulled of the magical 16 pointer in round 5,six pack taken and down the hatch. No such luck for anyone this week with a host of upsets on the cards. Still leading the charge is the Honourable Roger on a big score of 78 finding it hard to make a mistake but hot on his heels is Grant whose back behind the wheel at ...Boulia and is in second on 76 keeping warm by the towering inferno of all his Bronco merchandise. Third place is a tie between Merino Mick and Dougal both being on 74. After that it is a traffic jam on 72 with James, The Headmaster,Gum Creek Cam,Bull ,Tiger,Julie and the big bahwhana at Rainbow Beach Jack all tied up. Best of the southerners is Molong Man 10 behind on 68 someone mentioned they were only in it to make up the numbers. Special mention and congrats this week to our footy tippers Bull and Charmaine on the pending arrival. 16.01.2022 He is the champion and we're going to hear him roar, louder, louder than a lion. Tiger has hit the jackpot this week with a perfect card a full 16 and a six pack waiting at the pub! Dougal is in crushing form and after being just behind the lead for a few weeks he has pounced and full throttled to the lead with 78. Jim and Mick are in second place on 76 followed closely by Julie on 74. * Tips in by Thursday ... * Pizzas racing out the door * Sand flies gone * Red claw in the river * Storm rule See more
14.01.2022 WELL WELL WELL its happened weve been CORONAED the footy tipping and the comp has has been put on hold and there is only one worse thing can happen to a man. Might be some light at the end of the tunnel though talk we might be back into it by the end of May heres hoping . If we get a start all scores will stand and we will just continue on from there and didnt we have some big scores Grant got 3 months to think about it and he thought long and hard and... was in the lead with a big 28 from the 2 rounds then we got Batted by James , Rodger and Bull with 26s Dougal, Julie, Riley and Jim were right up there as well on 26. Ned Kelly was sitting in quarantine for 14 days and had plenty of time to study the form and is waving the flag for the Blues also chiming in with a solid 26. Publican doing it hard with Rodger,Jim and Eron all getting perfect rounds so publican 3 zip. If we can get the rest of the season off the ground the footy tipping at Stonehenge should be BIG, remember what Adam said to Eve stand back stand back we dont know how big this things going to get. 12.01.2022 Well the Honourable Roger has gone from a mandate to a dictatorship over the last couple of weeks and he appears to have an unassailable lead in the tipping comp with only a few weeks to go but stranger things have happened. Like after the doggies and the warriors staved off a 27 six pack shellacking of the publican the inevitable happened the round before last and he had to hand out 5 to Merino Mick,The Headmaster,The Honourable Roger even the Gum Creek Cowboy... Cam found his mojo and came up with the goods and to round out the 5 the southerner on the Macquarie Raby finally got his head above water to see his way to a perfect round making him the first of the border hoppers to taste Stonehenge Gold in the footy tipping. No perfects last week in a round of upsets but it was Tiger and Griffo who lead the way to top the round with a couple of 14s to be all but for the week. So as the leader board stands after the prevailing rounds it is still the Honourable Roger who leads the way on 194 still trying to bridge the 2 win gap in second is Grant on 190 jumping into outright third on 188 is the Crusher King Dougal who with 4 x 14 and 2 x 12 rounds in the last six is slowly turning those big rocks into little rocks hoping to find gold in them thar hills. Hot on their heels next is Merino Mick and The Headmaster both on 186. Few 50 50s this round shes on!!! Tips in tonight Wally Rae conquered Bull 10 to go Ned Kelly = Terrick Yella in the river Redclaw jumping in pots Storm Smith forever Someone please go the broncs 4 rounds to go See more

In second place is the headmaster Corey who in round 5 was in detention at the bottom of the ladder running last but having lifted his diligence to 1 we have seen him go from an F to an A and finish the week on 192 to be cruising this week.
