The end of last year and the start of this year have been very very busy I've been working with a bunch of new artists and a couple of regulars too, its been super super fun. 03.01.2022 @heapsgoodfriends brand spankin' new banger of a single single 'Up Close And Personal' is OUT today!! Find on all of your regular streaming platforms. GO LISTEN NOW YOU WONT REGRET A THING. I first came to Australia at the end of 2016 and @triple_j quickly became my go to radio station. One song quickly caught my attention one 'Lets Hug Longer' by the almighty @heapsgoodfriends. It made me super excited to be in Australia and to be discovering new music. I send said track t...o all my pals back in the UK and was surprised to find out this awesome music came from an Adelaide based outfit. Fastforward to 2018, I had just permantly relocated to Adelaide from the UK and I had started hotdesking @stpaulscreativecentre to try and meet likeminded creatives and music industry folk while I was waiting for my all my studio equipment to arrive from the UK. I think on my first day at St.Pauls I was introduced to Nick, we got a chatting and within the first 5 mins he offered to lend me his bass while my stuff was still in transit. After further conversatation Mr O'Conner I learned that he was in HEAPS GOOD FRIENDS, I was blown away and quickly told him how much I loved their single which had soundtracked my backpacking adventure in 2016/17. Since that first meeting Nick has been an absolute lengend and has introduced me to some incredible people which has led to me work with them on their music. So when Nick got in touch and asked me to mix their lastest single my response was 'YES YES YES A MILLION TIMES YES'. I had such a blast working with Nick on this Mix, I got a lil window into how Nick & Emma work which was super interesting and I learnt a bunch cool new stuff too. I really hope I get to work with these too legends again sometime soon. Sorry for essay.
