15.01.2022 "I was meant to be in Italy/Bali/Paris/London right now..." said many travellers who visited Walgett and our humble coffee/gift shop this year. One of the positives to come of 2020 (if it is allowed to be said), is that Covid has redirected many of Australians to explore our own backyard. We met so many travelers who were taking the opportunity to jump in their own cars and hit the road around their own states and see pockets they would probably have never have visited. It ...was fantastic to see, if one of the only silver linings. Australian landscape can be extreme and harsh at times, however it often beyond beautiful and breathtaking when you stop to appreciate it.
