23.01.2022 Due to the ongoing restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic and in the interest of the health of our community our members, artists and audience the Stonnington Symphony Committee of Management has made the tough decision that the following events will no longer go ahead as planned. - Sunday Series 2 Mozart, Brahms & Tchaikovsky, Sunday 16 August 2020 - Symphony in a Day, Saturday 5 September 2020 - Sunday Series 3 A Celebration of Beethoven at Castlemaine T...own Hall, Sunday 22 November 2020 Sunday Series 3 A Celebration of Beethoven at Malvern Town Hall (15 November 2020) will be reviewed closer to the date. The Committee of Management will monitor and follow advice from government and the City of Stonnington over the coming months. Pending advice from government and City of Stonnington, it is our hope that we are able to run our scheduled 2020 programs as planned in 2021. A full refund will be offered to all those who have purchased tickets to any cancelled Stonnington Symphony event. We would like to take this opportunity to thank City of Stonnington for their ongoing support of our organisation and to thank you, our audience and players, who make Stonnington Symphony so special.

Due to the rapid development of the COVID-19 pandemic and in the interest of the health of our community our members, artists and audience the Stonnington Symphony Committee of Management has made the decision that Sunday Series 1 A Bright New World will no longer go ahead as planned on Sunday 14 June 2020. A full refund will be offered to all those who have purchas...ed tickets to A Bright New World. The Committee of Management will review the cancellation or postponement of the remaining activities scheduled for 2020 over the coming months in line with government policy and advice from City of Stonnington. 14.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Paula Heyma. Paula was a stalwart of Stonnington Symphony serving on the Committee of Management and more recently as Viola Section Convenor. Paula has also spent the last few years compiling program notes for our printed program for each of our concerts at the Malvern Town Hall.
