25.01.2022 Exciting times - a visit from a family of wallabies! Normally they just bound through on their way to finding their home for the night, but today they stayed and had a little nibble. The littlest farmers were VERY excited and we managed to get close enough for a few photos (some of these were taken from our front door - very cool).

22.01.2022 Take one not needed pallet (and one clever farmery husband) et voila - a bin screen!

21.01.2022 Singapore daisy - a declared weed in QLD. Currently enjoying a very happy time on our creek banks *shakes fist* and slowly invading the paddocks. I'm thinking there may be nothing else for it but foraging piglets. What are your thoughts?

20.01.2022 Beautiful photo of lovely little Advancetown. Amazing to think we are only 20 mins from the hustle of the cosmopolitan Gold Coast.

16.01.2022 So in addition to our local fruit and veg and local honey we know have...wait for it... local milk! Not only is it fantastic to be sourcing milk with low food miles, but also offering two fingers up to Coles and Woolies which is no bad thing! Proper milk from 4Real Milk in the gorgeous Scenic Rim.

12.01.2022 Our young buck rooster, Rainbow, certainly is loud - but his crowing melody could use some work! Isn't he handsome?

10.01.2022 No matter how cheap generic milk gets we should resist the urge to buy it. Let them give their stockpiles away. The few dollars it costs to buy the right milk is a small price to pay to protect our dairy industry. The destruction of Australia’s primary industries is a disgrace, and the power to stop it sits with the consumer.

10.01.2022 Goats! Photos to come tomorrow.

08.01.2022 Hey Animals of the farm: no carking it or nearly carking it while Mr Stony Creek is not here. OK? OK. #goats

07.01.2022 A busy start to Spring, here at the farm. 2 of our hens successfully hatched their own mini flocks. Our reigning queen Mum ''Sunshine'' managed 7 chicks from 8 eggs! ''Sunshine's Daughter'' managed 3 of her own. Sunshine did have a late arrival now called ''Shorty''. You'll see below some video of Shorty being just a little too small to get herself (please be a her, please be a her) back into the box for bed. Luckily the Farmer was on hand to help out.

07.01.2022 Stony Creek looked like Stony River this weekend. Haven't seen it like this for a while. No major damage or trees down thankfully. Just full tanks and happy gardens.

06.01.2022 Finally first fire of the season. We thought Autumn would never arrive.

04.01.2022 Curried veg and homemade naan. I love cold Sundays!

01.01.2022 Egg rings not built for farm eggs. #overflow
