24.01.2022 Afternoon Karters. Unfortunately we have to share some terrible news, it was discovered this morning that the clubs scales shed and first aid room have been bro...ken into. The thieves have taken 2 first aid kits, our set of radios and our KA testing equipment. If you see any of these for sale online or have noticed anything suspicious in the recent few days please contact the club or Morwell Police. Also please share this post, we need this equipment to operate and it is a financial blow to the club to replace it.

24.01.2022 Stony Creek Go Kart Club is holding their March Club Day on Saturday 21st. Everybody from any events cancelled due to this virus are more than welcome to come a...nd join in. Classes running are: 125 light 125 heavy Cadet 9 Cadet 12 KA4 Vic Combined Light Vic Combined Heavy 4ss, if numbers are there. Open Practice starts at 10am. All entries on the day close at 11.30, please enter prior to Raceday online to save money and to allow all entries to be sorted for the day. Drivers briefing at 11.45am, Class practice at 12pm, Racing starts at 1pm. We welcome anybody to volunteer on the day, especially in the capacity of a Track Marshall. Any volunteering would be greatly appreciated. Entry Costs: Pre Race Entry: 1st Entry $50, 2nd $25 Entry on Race Day: 1st Entry $60, 2nd $40 Thank you and see you all Saturday!!

22.01.2022 We will be open this Sunday to hire karts. Yay. Some changes are in place to keep you healthy and safe. 1. Bookings are essential, please call to book your time. 2. I maximum of 12 karts only. 3. A 50% deposit is needed to secure your booking. 4. If you are sick, please stay at home.... We will be disinfecting karts and helmets between groups. Please make sure you stick to your booked in time so things run as smoothly as possible. Thankyou all for your patience, we can't wait to get you back on the track.

13.01.2022 Due to the current situation with Covid-19, we believe it is in the best interest for public safety to close our hire karts and our race days indefinitely. Race kart members are able to still practice, but need to make a booking so we can open the gate and make sure numbers are low. Part sales are still available for now. The cafe may stay open on some days to offer takeaway food for members. Thankyou all for your support, we hope that you and your love ones stay safe and well.

13.01.2022 We are back!! With restrictions easing in regional Victoria we are able to re open for recreational karts. Some rules will be place: Bookings are essential, and day rates will need to be pre paid. With only one pit crew per driver. Social distancing needs to be enforced, pit tents need to be at a minimum of 2 meters apart.... No sharing of karts, tools and apparel. Face coverings must be worn at all times. With easing restrictions on sport and recreation, we can again offer private track hire for up to 10 people. Sessions on offer:... Weekdays 10am - 6pm Weekends: 10am - 2pm and 2pm - 6pm Booking are essential and places are going fast. Contact us via facebook messenger to get back behind the wheel. Bookings unconfirmed till payment is made. Limit 10 people per private session. All current Memberships will be suspended until our business restrictions are lifted. No day memberships available till further notice.

The team at SCGK are ensuring that we are following Government guidelines surrounding the number of people we can have on the venue at one time, while upholding good hygiene and safety practises (including the sterilisation of hire karts and helmets after each use, frequent sterilisation of the venue and enforcing appropriate measures to ensure safety of all) .
