03.01.2022 The Independent Planning Commission is due to hand down its decision on Santos 450+ gas wells in the Pilliga State Forest at Narrabri. Get ready to continue the fight for a NSW gas ban. The students have spoken at 630+ protests on Friday: #fundourfuturenotgas

02.01.2022 On November 25, a day after federal environment minister Sussan Ley approved Santos' industrial gas plans for the north west of the state, Sydney Knitting Nannas and Friends called on the government to support Independent MP Justin Field's bill to cancel 'zombie' petroleum licences in NSW. Marie Flood read a message from north west farmer Rosemary Vass, thanking city folk for continuing to highlight the campaign to stop fracking. Jo Tobin read a letter sent to Bronwyn Taylo...r, the NSW minister for mental health, from nannas across NSW urging her to support the mental health of landholders by cancelling the PELs, saying that the approval of the Narrabri gas project had "increased the anxiety of people living in areas where the looming threat of an unnecessary gas industry will significantly change their way of life". Greens MP David Shoebridge stopped by to show his party's support. Miguel Heatwole and Patrick Harte provided excellent struggle songs, drawing in a lot of support from passers-by. #santos #stopfracking
