22.01.2022 School Holidays are almost here: Things not to forget before leaving on your driving holiday. Don't let your days of frolicking and fun be ruined when you return home. While no one can guarantee a house fire or burglary will never happen, there are a few tips to reduce the risk. Breaking and entering is much less likely to take place if you arrange for someone you can trust to check the home every few days while you're on the road. Someone trustworthy would be a long-standing... friend or a family member. http://bit.ly/2IzUhii

Real estate agents generally recommend vacating the property and styling it before sale. Thats not always an option for every vendor, but there are alternatives.... 1. Move out and send the stylists in 2. Where to live if youre moving out 3. Stay put and partially style your home 4. Long settlements and renting arrangements Read the full article here: http://bit.ly/2wbMks6

04.01.2022 The best way to pack clothes within cardboard boxes # Thinking of using cardboard boxes to move your closet? We dont blame you. Cardboard boxes are a low-cost, easy to find moving option for all of your household goods. You can even find them for free in local libraries, liquor stores, big box stores, and Craigslist. Once you have your cardboard boxes, dont just haphazardly throw everything inside. For expert advice on packing clothes inside cardboard boxes, read these six ...steps below. # First, make sure you have the right size box. We recommend using small to medium size cardboard boxes. This will prevent you from overstuffing them with clothing, which will only break the bottom of the box (leading to your clothes falling out while in transit). Using small to medium size boxes will also make your moving load easier to carry. # Make sure the cardboard box has been properly assembled and secured with packing tape. If the box is crushed or damaged in any way, you may want to consider trading it in for a sturdier box. # Next, line the inside of the cardboard box with packing paper or plastic wrap. This will help protect your clothing items from water damage and general wear-and-tear during the moving process. # Fold clothes using one of the three methods listed above. We recommend using the flat fold method for cardboard boxes, as this will make unpacking your boxes more efficient. # Once the clothes have been folded and placed inside, cover the top layer of clothing with packing paper. # Tape and secure the box. Label it clearly with a Sharpie marker and/or a color-coded post-it note. This will make it easy to spot once you arrive in your new home. Read the full article here: http://bit.ly/2Hoomzk
