Assistance in business and cultural briefings and presentations, market research at both top-level strategic and operationally specific levels, identification of potential investors and investment opportunities, identification of agency / distribution partners, identification of target clients, problem solving/repositioning, and sales and marketing. Also undertaken work assignments in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, India, UAE, UK & Canada. Professionally proficient in Mandarin Chinese and speaks basic Vietnamese. Speaks at events of the Australia China Business Council in Australia, MBA focused on 'Managing Business in Asia'. Tim was awarded Dux of his MBA cohort. He also has an Economics degree.

21.01.2022 5-15 March 2015 China, Korea and Hong Kong Tim undertook meetings with Guangzhou based conglomerate, attended KIMES medical devices exhibition in Seoul Korea for both Austofix and Vitaman, signed a Service Agreement with a Shanghai law firm to assist in inward investment into Australia, reviewed factory in Changzhou, held meetings with distributor in Jinan and then regulator in Beijing for Austofix, and met with two prospective distributors in Hong Kong for Austofix.

13.01.2022 2 October 2014 Open up Global Markets - showcasing SA to the world - China Focus Tim presented at a forum organized sponsored by the SA Small Business Commissioner, Helping small business to expand and emerge in international trade. He provided updates on the Chinese economy and society in 2014, along with insights and opportunities in the Chinese business landscape. The presentation covered practical and strategic tips about import, export and investment.

01.01.2022 15-25 August 2014 Mandate - 2nd Medical Device into China + Food and Consumer products In Guangzhou Tim held meetings regarding opportunities with an innovative Guangdong based distributor of food and consumer products in China regarding their expansion and opportunities for Australian companies in this. Tim then attended the HK Food Fair. Tim then undertook an assignment for Ellex, South Australian ophthalmic technology manufacturer of premium laser and diagnostic ultrasound systems. Tim then held meetings in Chinese language with Beijing regulator and Austofix’s distributor in Jinan.
