24.01.2022 Some Very Exciting News. Next weekend I will be flying to Brisbane for a meet and greet with CleftPALS QLD Inc. And Zack from 1IN700. Zack is traveling the world with the goal of photographing 700 cleft affected individuals to then create a fine art photography (coffee table size) book. I am so excited to have an opportunity to meet so many other cleft affected people. I think its going to be a very positive and inspiring day and something I will remember for a very long time #cleftstrong #cleftproud

21.01.2022 What an amazing and positive day Yesterday I flew to Brisbane to meet with CleftPALS QLD Inc. And other cleft affected adults and children. It was so great to connect with like minded people and share the same life experiences with each other. Friendships were made and stories were shared and it was all topped of with cocktails and lunch with two gorgeous girls that I am so grateful I got the chance to meet, Ellie and Alex. So privilege to be a part of such a positive g...roup, thank you to Belinda and Hayley for organising it all. #cleftstrong #cleftproud

21.01.2022 Finally decided it was about time I updated you all. I'm sorry its taken a while and that I didn't write about surgery as much as I hoped I would, the surgery took a bit of an affect on me and I wasn't ready to share yet. I am happy to say all is going well now and recovery (although very slow) is all going to plan. All of my bruising has gone now however I still have some swelling in the right side of my nose. This is the side that was almost completely fused together on the... inside so it had to all be reconstructed during the rhinoplasty. Underneath my eyes are still a little darker so I have learnt how to use concealer quite well now. It is a strange feeling to describe when you are used to looking at the same face for 22 years and then all of a sudden it looks different. Its swollen, bruised and a different shape and not just for a few days but for a few weeks- months . This feeling is something I wasn't quite prepared for and took me a bit by surprise and I was having mixed emotions about it all. Although to some they are only subtle changes, to myself they had a big impact. I am now very happy with how everything is looking and now I just have to be very patient to let everything heal properly #cleftstrong . . . Here are some before and after pictures for you all (left before, right after)

09.01.2022 BEFORE & AFTER It has now been 5 months since surgery. Here are some profile photos to show what has changed with surgery. Especially my side profile. Still some swelling on my right side of my nose but nothing too noticeable.
