14.01.2022 Spring has sprung in the vineyard. A hive of activity is happening, new watering systems are going in for the Cabernet block. Roses being planted in the newly established orchard and blossoms and bud burst everywhere. Plus twin baby lambs, emerged from the early morning fog this morning, all doing well.....

13.01.2022 Wonderful Spring has burst. Lambs are a frolicking, vines are all pruned in readiness for the new growth. We recently bought another vineyard backing on to our existing property, it produces wonderful cabernet grapes. We cannot wait to release them under our label next year. We have purchased grapes from this seasons harvest. It is currently ageing in smokey french oak barrels. Bottling expected next year....... No more frosts as the clear mornings welcome those that rise early...

10.01.2022 Sunset winter is coming to an end

09.01.2022 Opened 2013 .- Cabernet Sauvignon for Richards birthday 1st tasting since bottling 22/12/2014. Stunning, a richness worthy of partnering a meal or two. We had it with peppered lamb fillet roasted on a bed of organic eggplant, tomatoes, zucchini flavoured with garlic, rosemary thyme and oregano, accompanied by a side of spinach. All from the vineyards kitchen garden. Yum !,,, entree was local figs (brought by the guests) wrapped in prosciutto on a bed of rocket drizzled with Mudgees finest caramelised balsamic. Accompanied by our Rose.....Apart from the meat all from our vineyard garden . Have to start thinking what to cook so I can open our 2013 Shiraz Official launch date 1st March limits stocks of both let me know if you would like some, for drinking now and cellaring cheers K & R
