21.01.2022 Let's do - BOOK WEEK 2020 -

11.01.2022 Dear Kym, Thank you for your stories and songs. My Dad who was a teacher moved to Gippsland in the 90's and heard of you while he was there. He spoilt my kids rotten and bought your story cassettes for them and their NZ cousins. My husband and I were expecting kids stories. You gave us so much more. We found ourselves laughing so hard and loving the characters. Our kids learnt to love all of your stories and songs.... My Dad loved the interaction that you and your stories had with the kids. He also sent your cassettes to my niece and nephew in New Zealand. Parts of your stories became embedded in our families. Unfortunately my dad died in 2009 and when my siblings and I were planning the funeral, my kids and their cousins were sitting in my garden together telling your stories as part of remembering their grandad. They were celebrating his life and love. If my family have sore legs they always refer to the best thing for sore legs is tv. The need for bandaids especially ones that have sutures underneath them always brings out comments about blue bandaids. There are so many other examples of your stories being embedded in our families' story. About 10 years ago my youngest daughter had the chance to see you in real life at her school. It was so unfortunate that she was very unwell with swine flu pneumonia but you gave her teacher a get well card. The card you sent her is still in her 'to keep' box. My son is getting married soon. Today he told me that he is downloading your stories so that ann can share in the laughs. It made me realise what an important part of our family your stories are. While we are experiencing such a strange 2020 I have been focussed on the important things in my life. Family is so important and the things that bind families are many and varied. I want to thank you for your stories and songs that continue to be an important part of our lives and the fabric of our family. I hope that you and yours are safe and well. Kindest regards Merilyn

10.01.2022 Enquire today about my availability in your school this Book Week 2020 Now postponed to October 19 - 23

03.01.2022 I'm concerned as to why Tassie schools have not booked me for Book Week 2020 after 5 months of publicity. So today, out of frustration, I notified MELBOURNE Schools and within TWO HOURS I had $15,000 worth of bookings. My Book week is now fully booked in Melbourne and Tassie schools have missed out again. I tried to reserve it for them, for five months, I really did but I heard not a peep out of them.... Is it because I live here now and they think anything from Tasmania can't be any good and only interstate things are good... or something like that. STOP PRESS - ALL SHOWS CANCELLED DUE TO EXTENDED COVID IN VICTORIA

01.01.2022 Funny ...that's my fee too.
