12.01.2022 So happy to have Mara Menzies on House of Legends! This episode features an interview with Mara and a story from her much talked-about show, Blood & Gold.

11.01.2022 A question for the house: When you want to really learn a story, to properly court it, understand it, come to grips with it and behold it properly - what ways a...nd manners or approach do you tend to use? Here is a list of things I've come to over time. I'd love to hear what you all might have to add. Read or listen to it multiple times Find other version on same culture Find versions from other cultures Go back to original languages press- translation Wonder about what was happening historically How is every material thing in the story made? Explore the numerology in it Consider the astronomy and astrology that might be coded in it Consider the psychological levels of the story - how could each character be a part of us. Learn the story of the storyteller from whom you heard or read it originally. Imagine story through eyes of all the characters.

10.01.2022 For my friend Paul! The riddle is so sweet, and Freddy so loveable.
