21.01.2022 At the start of Term 4, all Year 7 students will participate in an excursion to Hollybank Adventures, including a session on the High Ropes. On Friday 4th September, our Middle School staff spent their Professional Learning Day at Hollybank on the High Ropes. The purpose of both our Middle School staff and Year 7 students participating in these experiences is to build personal resilience, build relationships, build a positive culture and explore growth mindset. This video captures the experiences of our staff as they push themselves out of their comfort zones so that they are prepared to support our Year 7 students in doing the same.

This wonderful event generates much needed funds for St Giles programs, which provides opportunities for some of our community’s most vulnerable people. The Ascent team assisted St Giles with their efforts to create a covid-safe event by collecting contact details for the visitor’s log, tracking the number of people in and out of the Albert Hall and distributing water to the queue of shoppers waiting to enter the Albert Hall. To our friends at St Giles, thank you for the wonderful work that you do and also to our Ascent students who embrace these wonderful opportunities to support others. #StPatricksCollegeLaunceston #StPatricksCollege #Launceston #SPCAscent
