23.01.2022 Easter Saturday Vigil Mass

23.01.2022 From Fray Daniel His Eminence, Archbishop Georg Ganswein, prefect of the papal house and personal secretary of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, asks the world to pr...ay for the holy Father. His Eminence declares that Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI is like a slow and serene fading candle, He is at peace with God, with God himself and with the world, he is unable to walk without help and can no longer celebrate the mass. Let us offer prayers for the Holy Father as he continues on the path of life with Christ, whom he loves and serves with so much love and delivery, and with whom he longs to meet face to face to continue to serve. Pray for Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI. #CIEN #JMM #NT

23.01.2022 Solemnity of the Resurrection - Easter Sunday Happy Easter everyone!!

23.01.2022 Tomorrow, September 23 is the Memorial of ST. PIO OF PIETRELCINA (Padre Pio) ....... PADRE PIO’S PRAYER TO JESUS ....... Oh my Jesus, give me Your strength when... my weak nature rebels against the distress and suffering of this life of exile, and enable me to accept everything with serenity and peace. With my whole strength I cling to Your merits, Your sufferings, Your expiation, and Your tears, so that I may be able to cooperate with You in the work of salvation. Give me strength to fly from sin, the only cause of Your agony, Your sweat of blood, and Your death. Destroy in me all that displeases You and fill my heart with the fire of Your holy love and all Your sufferings. Clasp me tenderly, firmly, close to You that I may never leave You alone in Your cruel Passion. I ask only for a place of rest in Your Heart. Amen. (repeat three times) --- GLORY BE TO THE FATHER, AND TO THE SON, AND TO THE HOLY SPIRIT, AS IT WAS IN THE BEGINNING IS NOW, AND EVER SHALL BE, WORLD WITHOUT END. AMEN. ....... The 2 pictures below shows the incorrupt body of St. Pio of Pietrelcina .......

We also have our Wednesday fellowship beginning this week - please come along and have a cuppa , a snack , and spend time together enjoying company and growing in faith! 15.01.2022 3rd Sunday of Easter

15.01.2022 Shared with permission from author: "I was listening to a priest talk about Good Friday this year and realized what a unique experience many of us will have this year. Normally, the Church is plain with all statues covered and no decorations on the alter to help visualize Christ is gone. But this year, we also get to see a Church emptied of all Christ's followers. It will be a good and unique visual of how many of His friends and disciples left him in His hour. It will help even more to understand the magnitude of this day. While I know this is not joyful, I hope it brings some good out of a time I know is hard for many."

13.01.2022 More and more churches around the world are being vandalised, with statues broken, tabernacles desecrated (and consecrated hosts stolen!!), and now THIS! Please if you are able, offer prayers and fasting for reparation of these horrible sins. Our Lady Queen of Peace, pray for us! St Agatha, pray for us! . St Michael the Archangel, defend us is battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. AMEN

13.01.2022 5th Sunday of Easter, Yr A - A blessed and happy mother's day to all our beautiful mothers!

12.01.2022 A beautiful article on Padre Pio from our friends down the road in Albany

12.01.2022 What a beautiful time of the year! The Feasts of All Saints and All Souls remind us that the communion of saints and and the holy souls in purgatory are indeed a part of our church family! This month especially, we honour those who have gone before us; those who have lived as saints both named and unnamed, those who gave their lives for God, our family members who have passed on, and especially those who have no one to pray for them. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, an...d let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen! . How do you celebrate the lives of your family members in your home? How do you celebrate the saints? Feel free to share your images and statues and altars! See more

11.01.2022 Happy birthday Mumma Mary!! Ave Maria!!

11.01.2022 Good morning, family! Though it is hard to remember what day it is during quarantine, I'm here to remind you that not only is it our Sunday online mass day, it is also Divine Mercy Sunday! The prayers of The Divine Mercy were given to St Faustina by Our Lord Jesus Christ, and we the church recognise this by offering the Sunday after the Resurrection to the Divine Mercy! Divine Mercy is an incredibly powerful prayer, and can be prayed using your Rosary beads. There is a...n image attached to help you but if that is hard to see, there are many resources online to help you like Www.catholic.org Or Www.thedivinemercy.org Or I love using the apps "Laudate" Or "Catholic Daily Reflections". God bless you all, and we will see you online for mass at 10:30 this morning!

10.01.2022 Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ, As the first indications are being given of the lifting of various restrictions, many are concerned that proper consideration... is not being given to the re-opening of Churches. I have previously suggested that you might write to the Prime Minister to express your concerns in this regard. It would also be open to you to write to the Victorian Premier, and the Archbishop of Melbourne. An initiative has also been launched nationally: a group of lay faithful has announced a petition to the Australian Bishops asking them to make strenuous efforts to have our Churches reopened and public Mass restored immediately. I commend this petition to you: I hope you will support it with your own signature, and alert others to its existence. The petition, entitled The Church and the Sacraments are essential, may be found here: https://www.citizengo.org/en-au/signit/178865/view Yours in our Risen Lord, Fr Glen Tattersall PP

09.01.2022 6th Sunday of Easter, Year A. Happy Sunday everyone

09.01.2022 Fr. Gerome's Easter Message . . A heart felt wish for a Blessed Easter to my dear Parishioners! The Lord is Risen! Alleluia!... Can we still celebrate Easter? Easter as we know is a time for thanksgiving and rejoicing! It is a time to remind us of the many blessings that we have. How can we celebrate Easter as a people of God in the face of horror, sadness, isolation, sacrifices and losses of the global crisis brought by COVID 19. We have had a human shared experience of the so called sacrifice. We should all remember the true meaning of Easter and the sacrifice that has been made out of love by God, our Father, that He gave His beloved Son Jesus to redeem us from our sins. Easter also shows us that at the end of each hardship, each struggle and each difficulty is a promise of hope and a better tomorrow. Easter is the fruit of our Holy Week sacrifices. It means better things will come and we must never give up and lose hope. The Lord has shared his great love for us this Easter and it is a good time to reflect on our lives and remember that we have been blessed so much with love, mercy, forgiveness and peace. Celebrate this day with complete joy and zeal as we all live a life with renewed faith to strive harder every day to be Christians who are truly committed to follow Christ and His ways. In this strange time, let us share the spirit of the Risen Christ and never lose hope in the face of adversity and even death, showing compassion that would eventually lead to an abounding gift of selfless and unconditional love for others. Like Mary Magdalen who had seen the Risen Christ, May we too, will be able to see Him risen in our lives and see His mercy! To God be the Glory this Easter Sunday! Fr. Gerome Miranda Dalipe II
