22.01.2022 Some breaking news - I'm delighted to announce that Gale Street in Mortlake will be getting a pedestrian crossing! This was a local issue I fought hard for, kno...wing how essential pedestrian safety is for our youngest and most vulnerable members of the community. Well done to the parents who initiated this call to action and have succeeded in making the main street at St Patrick's Catholic Primary School Mortlake and parish a safer place for the community.

11.01.2022 Dear St. Pat’s Parishioners, I write to advise that Fr Peter Morrissey's funeral will be ‘livestreamed’ via the parish website on Thursday, 7 May at 1pm. To watch the funeral, please click on the parish website and follow the link to the streaming of the funeral Mass of Fr Peter.... www.stpatsmortlake.org.au It is unfortunate that we cannot physically gather as a community to celebrate this remarkable man’s life however, we will be sure to have a suitable memorial service for him once things return to ‘normal’. 08.01.2022 Great news for our Mortlake community! We are planning to build a new raised pedestrian crossing on Gale Street near St Patrick's Mortlake and St Patrick's Cath...olic Primary School Mortlake. Consultation with nearby residents will be undertaken in early 2021. We are committed to providing a safe environment for all members of our community, from school children to the elderly. We look forward to enhancing safety and improving connectivity for our Concord and Mortlake residents. Keep an eye out in the new year for more plans to improve safety with our city-wide Pedestrian Safety and Mobility Plan consultation starting in early 2021.
