24.01.2022 Tuesday Chess - its been a little more difficult this year to play chess due to covid restrictions. We haven endured through with sibling chess and year group chess. Here is Liam teaching his younger sister how to play chess!

24.01.2022 We have some great swimmers at St Paul's. The Aquatics club has not been able to have an awards event. They asked if we could celebrate our swimmers with the school community. The children can collect the trophies and awards from my office on Monday. Congratulations to all our swimmers!

24.01.2022 This week K-2 have been participating in the Water Safety Program. The children have enjoyed going to the pool each day. The water safety program concludes with the final lesson tomorrow.

19.01.2022 This week we have been celebrating NAIDOC week. The children have been undertaking NAIDOC activities throughout the week including creating the sea of hands as seen in the photos below. Recognition of the unique place our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander sisters and brothers have in our society is foundational to our shared Australian identity. Happy NAIDOC week!

14.01.2022 Congratulations to our age champions from our recent athletics carnival. The children who won heats have received their ribbons in class today. Congratulations to our RED house who were the champion house on the day. Well done everyone for what was a fun day!

12.01.2022 Year 5 have been doing Christmas craft as part of structured play. This week children constructed impressive Christmas card baubles! What a great way to recycle your old Christmas cards.

11.01.2022 Two of our Year 5 students Ella and Gracie have been working on their project - Roald Dahl! Their projects outlined the life of the famous author. Well done girls we loved hearing all about the man behind so many wonderful books that have been enjoyed by generations and many more to come!

10.01.2022 Ahoy, me hearties! Today we celebrated Pirate Day! The students have had a ball talking like pirates, going on a treasure hunt and K-2 enjoyed being read pirate books from a special pirate guest!

09.01.2022 Last Tuesday we were visited by the thirty one children enrolled in Kindergarten for 2021. The children came to school to meet their teacher Mrs Calla-Hunstone and to meet each other. They were absolutely beautiful! A great big, warm welcome to our community new children and their families!

07.01.2022 This is our virtual whole school assembly for Week 9. We announce the cross country age champions and the winning colour house. Congratulations to everyone who both competed and enjoyed the cross country. Chehck out the cross video for a sense of how much joy the children had with the cross country.

06.01.2022 Today at St Paul's we had our annual Athletics Carnival. The children had a wonderful day trying their best! The weather in the middle of the day meant we had to have some of the K-2 activities in the hall. It wasn't the same without our families cheering the kids on, however we did try to capture the day by taking lots of photos. Grab a cuppa and enjoy browsing through all of the photos!

06.01.2022 We were asked by the Country Women’s Association to make Pom Poms for their decorating of Leighton Gardens. Our school came together and made 90 Pom Poms! Here are some photos of the gardens looking bright and beautiful!

05.01.2022 Our Year 5 Students have been studying a unit - Earth and Space. Their project was to construct a model of the solar system. Here are some photos of their amazing work. Ruya and Gracie have a video taking you through their project. Well done Year 5, they all look spectacular!!

03.01.2022 On Wednesday 18th November, our Year 6 students participated in an immersive spiritual experience, Activate Fire. This online program is based on the Year 6 Confirmation Unit: Celebrating the Gift of the Holy Spirit. Throughout the day, students listened to songs and participated in a range of exciting games that linked to the content. Joel and Seth from CYMA led some discussions about prayer, God’s love and the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit. All students participated with great enthusiasm and had an amazing day.
