25.01.2022 URGENT ALL TAS and JTAS Sport cancelled this weekend. Due to the increasing restrictions on Brisbane’s southside and in the interest of ensuring the safety of... all players, staff and parents, The Associated Schools has opted to cancel all this weekend’s fixtures. This is a fast-moving situation so please stay tuned over the coming week regarding next weekend’s games.
24.01.2022 Good luck to all of our teams competing at the 2020 QLD All Schools Touch Competition https://fb.me/e/cUxmD4jYo
17.01.2022 Please see details below of email sent out my Miss Litherland earlier today. Dear all, I just wanted to send out an email today in regards to the proposed JTAS and TAS fixtures for this weekend.... As per last week, we are continuing to monitor the COVID situation in Brisbane at the moment. As such, we are still proposing to go ahead with our usual fixtures this weekend. If anything changes this week, you will be alerted by Friday of any cancellations. If our fixtures are cancelled again, we will be running intra-school fixtures (St Paul's teams versing one another) between grades for each sport so that teams can still play a game in the final round of Term 3 sport. If you have any queries with this, please feel free to contact me. Kind regards, Chloe Litherland
06.01.2022 Some action from Qld All Schools. U15 girls played Wednesday and Thursday and were on a learning curve against some strong teams. The girls improved during the six games and will be back better than ever next year. U18 boys enjoyed their first day and were pleased to score twice against the highly-rated Chancellor Park team, and hold the other very strong Cavendish Rd SHS to a respectable scoreline. U18 girls had very good results with two strong wins over St Saviour's and St Eugene, a draw and a loss. Both U18 teams are eagerly looking forward to Saturday's games.
05.01.2022 More action from Qld All Schools U18 girls and boys teams Saturday games. The girls won 3 games and a draw which placed us a respectable 4th out of 8 in the pool. Some outstanding performances especially in the final game vs Marymount College, where injuries and fatigue had to be overcome. A great way for the Year 12s to finish their school sport careers, and for the younger players to look forward to several more years of All Schools - such a challenging but enjoyable sporti...ng environment. Whilst the boys were on a touch footy learning curve, they enjoyed testing their skills and achieved their defensive targets against all of their opponents, whilst having great fun along the way. Also making some memories for the Year 12s at their last St Paul's sports event. Huge thanks to coaches Riley Yorston, Brooke Carson, Mr Glen Smith, Ms Chloe Litherland and Mr Paul Sullivan for giving up their time and providing learning and encouragement for the players. Thanks also to Brooke Carson for the photography. See more
