22.01.2022 Margaret's Message The calendar year has gotten off to a flying start and it's already Australia Day. There are lots of events that celebrate our wonderful country and the spirit of our people who have contributed to make us a great nation. This includes each one of us who through our prayers support many of the hallmarks that have shaped our evolution. Jesus calls us into places and space that we may not readily choose to go but, like Jonah, although we may be reluctant to g...o initially, God is persistent. It is good to remember that God is very insistent and also far more patient than we can imagine. God is God of the second chance who, through forgiveness, keeps on inviting us to be the voice for the silenced in society. The fishermen obeyed the call of Jesus, left their old way of life to follow. Fortunately, we may not need to go so far, but are we willing to respond at all? Grace and peace, Revd Margaret

18.01.2022 We've made some changes to our foyer! We've been tidying up in anticipation of Dayspring community joining us soon. We now have a more organised book shelf and reception area. You're welcome to come in and have a browse

05.01.2022 Margaret's Message Today we celebrate the next chapter for the Dayspring community as they move into our building and invite us to share in their journey. The hope is this space will become as much a spiritual home for Dayspring as it is for the St Peter and Emmaus communities. We are delighted to explore and expand our mission through new relationships and ways of engaging. Today's readings invite us to reflect on the way we make choices - particularly about authority. Who... do we follow and who follows us? What criteria do we use to discern who is trustworthy? Does wisdom have more credibility than knowledge? Perhaps we need both? Inevitably we need to be brave and take the next step. You might like to walk the labyrinth to spend some time this week with God, or a companion to explore which gifts you would like to share, or if there is something you need to ask help with to enable you to fulfil your calling. As we share the calling to be here in this place in this time may God bless us now and in all ways. Blessings Revd Margaret
