23.01.2022 Good news from the fire front. Ironbark has not been affected by fire. We will continue to monitor the situation as the next two days will be crucial given the weather predictions. The staff, facilities and livestock are all well. The 9LM students have returned home for the moment and hopefully we can get them back here soon.

15.01.2022 Year 9 CD students at Ironbark were treated to a visit from their YLC and some teachers today, including Form, Science and Tech teachers. All students were having a wonderful time and in great spirits.

13.01.2022 The 9AB kids are 3 weeks into their Ironbark experience and have some messages to share with their mums and mother figures that cant be with them today

13.01.2022 Group 2 9GH / AB / CD Here are a few pictures of the Group 1 students in action across the first week at base. Today is changeover day where Group 1 head to Cronins for the week and Group 2 get a well earned hot shower and comfy bed back in the dorms tonight. Photo upload for Group 2 adventures at Cronins will be loaded tomorrow when their camera returns.

10.01.2022 Bushfire Update Ironbark continues to remain unaffected by the bushfires around Crows Nest. I am happy to report that the livestock are all well and there has been no damage other than fences affected by backburning operations. The fire crews have established containment lines to our east with backburning and we have had graders in here improving firebreaks helping to protect us from the fire front. You could land a plane on the Airstrip. We will continue to monitor the situation and hopefully there will be no issues.

09.01.2022 Its all happening in the maternity ward. Lambs arriving daily (twins this morning). The piglets are keeping cosy on our cold mornings. The Aquaponics is up and running as a result of the 9AB and 9CD project. Very handy considering Owens, dam that supplies the vegie garden, is pretty much dry.
