22.01.2022 If you were to die tonight and God asked you Why should I let you into heaven?, what would you say? . This adaptation of Ephesians 2:8,9 reminds us of the gift of Grace through Christ Jesus and what we really need to do to get to heaven! . .... For it is by grace that I'm saved, through faith and this is not from ME, it is YOUR GIFT to me I can't earn my way into heaven or gain it in any way, it is only by believing in your Son, Jesus the Christ and His death on the cross in my place that I can be saved. 17.01.2022 A visit to The Somme and Flanders Saturday 10 November 2018 7.30pm at St Peters Lutheran Church. It is 100 years since the guns fell silent on the Western Front. As part of the commemorations, St Peters is hosting a visit to The Somme and Flanders, this to be presented by Ken Semmler and Brian Mattner. While any such sharing really scratches the surface, there will be a focus on South Australians and a most interesting local participation.... Please come along and join in the evening. Supper, including Anzac Biscuits, will be provided.
16.01.2022 John 12:23-26 'Jesus replied, The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.' From the Gospel for the fifth Sunday in Lent
14.01.2022 Hi all, thank you worship team for helping make this morning's GIFT/Advent service the great time that it was. It wasn't everyone's cup-of-tea but most enjoyed the format and the intergenerational activities. Praise God!
12.01.2022 O sacred head, now wounded, With pain and scorn weighed down, In mockery surrounded, With thorns thine only crown. Today we thank and praise our Heavenly Father for taking on our sins and dying on the cross. It is finished
11.01.2022 There are plenty of ways for us to communicate in a digital age. We can send text messages, email, use social media of various types, video call, or we can even... use more traditional technology and talk with someone on the phone. However, there is nothing quite like seeing someone face to face if we are going to really get to know them. [ 1,077 more word ] https://ttglutheran.wordpress.com//the-light-of-gods-glor/
09.01.2022 We don't need to EARN our way to heaven ... our place in heaven is assured through our faith in Christ and his death on the cross. What a gift of GRACE that is! "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8,9

03.01.2022 In the same way, Christ did not take on himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him, You are my Son; today I have become your Father. And he says in another place, You are a priest forever,... in the order of Melchizedek. During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek. 02.01.2022 Pray for each other. It doesn't take much, but it does a lot!
