24.01.2022 Hi Everyone! Some fantastic feedback from 3 great friends who recently got to experience our Unit for the first time! There are still dates available in early December, late January and then throughout the year - don't hesitate to reach out to me to check dates and rates for you.... Feedback below........ We were lucky enough to stay at Unit 21 at the Islander recently and really enjoyed our stay which felt like a home away from home. The apartment is so large and spacious and all of the furnishings are high quality and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to self-cater and with a choice of two balconies to relax on, it really is a great space to sit back and enjoy the views. This is a great location to be in with only a short walk to the bowls club and a slightly longer walk to the pub (seems longer on the way home!). Both venues serve really delicious meals and are a nice option if you don’t feel like cooking at home. We found the unit so comfortable and appreciated the full size dining table and couch which have both been chosen to provide the most comfort. The bedrooms are air conditioned and also very spacious. I feel we could have easily spent another week there and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and the complex is lovely and quiet. We didn’t hear any noise apart from the Kookaburra who liked to come and chat to us on the balcony of an afternoon! I am looking forward to another visit to this beautiful place soon and could not recommend Shelley and Brett highly enough as hosts. Regards Melanie, Rebecca and Shelley

16.01.2022 Recent feedback from Mercedes who stayed in our unit a month ago! Hi Guys, Just wanted to say a huge thank you and express how impressed I was with the Unit. The location was even better than I could have hoped - just across from the iconic Home Beach, local shops and bowls club.... When I arrived at the unit with my partner and parents we had no issues gaining entry, the place was extremely spacious and beautifully renovated. Everything we needed was already there, fully self contained and super clean! We had a fantastic time and I would 100% recommend this to anyone couples, family with small kids or a few friends. Well don't forget that Straddie is on your doorstep and should be open for guests from the June QLD School Holidays (fingers crossed!). With long white beaches and the whales making their way past, it is the perfect destination to get away and enjoy the lovely sunny winter days!... 03.01.2022 Exciting things happening at Unit 21! Today the NBN was connected to our unit and should be working by tomorrow! We will be the first unit on the island to offer complimentary WIFI to our fantastic guests! Also a brand new hot water system is being installed today, so hot water won’t ever be an issue in this unit....... Then in November we are converting part of our garage into a games room for those rare wet days when you can’t make it to the beach! If you haven’t been to Straddie before or haven’t been here for a while.. it’s time to commit! We still have dates available in early November, early December and then from late January through to Easter! 01.01.2022 Recent feedback from Mary Nguyen (Brisbane) who stayed at our Unit 21 The Islander in June Nothing beats being out and about in nature and around wildlife with your loved ones. Our first little getaway since March was exactly what our souls needed. We spotted whales, dolphins and turtles and Ellie got up close and personal with a joey. We are so privileged and blessed to live in Australia; although she has her imperfections, she does have decent leadership (in global compari...son) and a sense of communal adherence to do the right thing. When borders open up againboth domestically and internationallyI would highly recommend visiting North Stradbroke Island AKA Straddie. This beautiful island is a short, scenic ferry ride from Brisbane and all the locals are so warm, friendly and welcoming. We stayed at Unit 21 at the Islander Resort, which was right across from Home Beach and we were not disappointed! Warm Regards, Mary
