12.01.2022 My sons room is one of my favourite areas. I purchase Native Canadian prints every time I go home to visit family. I had no idea what to do with them as they usually feature darker colours. @interiortailorandco is so clever she was able to put these together so creatively on the wall. I got some real bargains while searching for Mr. 6 and my top two finds would be the 2 for $10 lamp bases from gumtree (the other is in my daughters room) and I painted blue and used leftover jute from a family party for the lampshade. I also found thin jute rope from Spotlight to trim it. #winning. This home is from a house in Canmore, Ab and I love the use of the beams in the entrance. The colour scheme will be different to fit more with the Queensland lifestyle, unlike this one that uses a lot of warm and dark colours to contrast with the white snow;). I spray painted the bedhead mint and now its perfect:) The lamp was part of the pair I found on gumtree and I also spray painted it mint.
