Google has changed their map platform to start making money. While Google says this will only affect the biggest of their map users, the map code needs to be updated everywhere to facilitate their changes. 13.01.2022 SCAM ALERT Now is the time to be particularly vigilant about any emails you receive claiming to be from the Tax Office or Superannuation and any sort of communication about COVID-19 Relief payments. Scammers are busy trying to trick people into revealing private information such as bank account details, birth dates and tax file numbers. ... Do not click on the links in an email unless you are absolutely certain that the email is from the sender it claims to be. This example appears to be from the "Australian taxation office Executing Devision" - note the spelling error, and inconsistent use of capitals. The email address is [email protected] - this is not an Australian Government email address (such as ato.gov.au). When you hover over the link in the email (you can hover - but DO NOT CLICK THE LINK) you can see the actual address that the link will go to, which in this case is quite different to the link displayed. You can see the details in the 2nd image. Both of these details are clearly suspicious and highlight the fact that this is a scam email. Delete these emails.

06.01.2022 Daylight savings concludes in NSW this Sunday 7th April 2019. The time will officially turn back one hour at 3am, meaning we can all get an extra hour of sleep! For many Blue Mountains residents this will brighten their morning as it will be light earlier and some will be returning to getting up to daylight, rather than pre-dawn. The body generally adapts much more easily to switching time via the longer day than it does when switching via the shorter day in October each year..., so it generally only takes a day to adjust at the end of daylight saving time. Yay! So remember to turn your clocks back on Saturday before bed or first thing on Sunday morning because we all want to get to work at the right time on Monday :)

The problem is ongoing and we are engaged in discussions to find alternatives to the current arrangements to reduce the likelihood of interruptions to the email service in the future. Currently, we have established temporary email server which will allow some mail function. You should be able to send and receive emails using an email client such as Outlook or Ma...c Mail or through your phone. Webmail, however is unavailable. Your email history, the email stored in your mailbox, is not currently available. We expect this to be fully restored once the email server technical issues are resolved.
