15.01.2022 We have all seen a lot of not so nice posts in regards to people making "non-essential" trips... Maybe we should stop and think ..That person buying a litre of paint knows they must keep busy because idle hands in the past has caused them to relapse and pick up that case of alcohol or worse ? So their using this time to do home improvements, something that keeps the mind busy while feeling a sense of accomplishment, trying to avoid painful triggers while possibly alone ? ...Or maybe that person buying bags of soil and seeds, has struggled with depression and suicide ? How do you know that planting and watching something beautiful grow during this time of darkness , isn't essential to , helping to hold on to what little hope they might still have... Those 2 people out walking/riding together are barely keeping things together for their kids and partners at home and that time with a friend is relieving stress so they can go home and be strong for their families. Or others working out in the park are so stressed as they've lost their jobs and their families are depending on them financially to make it through until the crisis is over. By having a mate's talk it's reducing the fights at home due to all the stress they are under. And the list can keep going.. We need to remember that it is impossible to know just by looking at a situation from "our" small lens what someone is truly going through or where their mental health is at . 11.01.2022 Stranded on Peel is open to Clients/Friends/family.. Thank you for your conformation of your future bookings and acceptance of our changes in the salon due to our new world , and your on going support. We will not only be continuing with the safety rules set in place ,but we will also ( for the personal safety of the staff and clients) at this stage will only be accepting regular and existing clients only .. The door will be locked between services . Please give us a wave ...and we will let you in . Any clients wishing to make appointments , please feel free to call the salon or alternately text 0418518004 and we will get back to you ASAP. We hope everyone can appreciate we are making the salon a safe place for all the Stranded family. 01.01.2022 As much as I have loved being at home (and the fur babies have loved it too) We have decided to open the Salon by appointment only for 1/2 hour*ish appointments . ( existing clients only) One client in the salon at a time and 15 minute gaps between clients so salon can be thoroughly cleaned.. Feel free message for more details please .
