20.01.2022 Just added to NYD: MATT FORMAT Matt Format: the daring darling of Sydney's Drag Performance Art scene uses an otherworldly display of beloved trash and whimsical neuroses to explore gender and social norms. Previously known as Glitterbeard, Matt is a chameleon of queer space. Format was chosen as a finalist for The Stephen Cummins Bequest: Queer Performance Residency at PACT Centre for Emerging Artists in 2015. Over the past few years you may have caught him out and about orc...hestrating a 300-people hug at Day For Night, Carriageworks; supporting Kylie Minogue at a surprise show in Sydney; being the Drag MC at Secret Garden Festival; performing at Splendour in the Grass and Subsonic festivals; performing a durational work at Mona Foma / Dark Mofo 2013-2015; being the poster kidult for Sydney Fringe Festival 2015; and most recently Format drove Nanaman's Retrostalgia to Adelaide Fringe Festival 2016. *gasping breath* She’s been a busy girl. Look out lock-out! This enigmatic character has one hand on the spotlight and the other hand on last drinks.

Gaff E expresses herself through DJing (playing disco, italo, funk and soul) thriving on sharing her cosmic performances and happy music to connect people with their true selves and ultimate freedom. Gaff E’s passion for challenges and collaborative projects has cast her on a continuous international tour of creativity DJing, modeling, styling, performing, da...ncing, directing, and producing music. Gaff E has DJ’d and performed around the world; supported Peaches live in Toulouse, Glastonbury (UK), Charli XCX in London, Burning Man (USA) and the Big Day Out festivals in Australia. She has also DJ’d at Le Baron in NYC and Paris, Sink the Pink in London and at festivals Camp Cosmic, Secret Garden Party and Bestival. Catch Gaff E spin at 5:30 this Sunday.
