21.01.2022 Leather Harness Workshop! Do you love Steampunk, Cosplay (Costume Play)? Like to Re-enact Medieval,Sci Fi or create your own Game of Thrones accessory? This is the workshop for you, and it’s a lot of fun!! With this genre of costume making, leather is a huge component, and people are flocking to the re-enactment movement and love anything that is as authentic as it comes.... Come along and create your own leather harness I'll teach you how to design, cut, shape, trim, and finish your items creating a leather harness you can take home with you. You'll get expert guidance and throughout your workshop you'll be cutting the leather, marking out, riveting, burnishing edges and assembling your leather harness. Don't worry at all if you're unfamiliar with the terminology as you'll be given a demo of each stage and encouraged to practice on off-cuts to build your confidence. Workshop spaced over 2 weeks: Week 1 - 3 hours (Weekday & Weekends available) Learn how to design, measure & cut leather. Week 2 - 3 hours (Weekday & Weekends available) Assemble and finish design. Conclusion: You will walk away educated in how to make a basic harness you can use for everyday use Workshop will be running on minimum 2 & maximum 4 people basis.
