About the role We are looking to engage the services of an Accounting & Compliance Manager to manage all Accounting, Insurance and Compliance functions of the business. Working closely with a small team of Strata Community Managers, you will have two direct reports and be exposed to a high level of diversity in this fast paced role. A key to success will be understanding Accounting principles, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Key responsibilities include: Daily reconciliation of trust accounts Preparing capital works and administrative fund budgets Managing fire, lift and other compliance functions Reconciliation and uploading of financials for new strata plans Processing insurance policies and claims Issuing of monthly treasurer reports Financial roll over of accounts BAS and income tax return preparation for external completion System improvement projects Adhering to and further developing company procedures Overseeing office management and administration Checking and overseeing accounts payable payment runs Managing accuracy of pricing system updates and charging Client liaison regarding financial, insurance and compliance matters Accounting experience and qualifications are essential. Experience within the Strata industry is preferred but not essential. If you are outcome focused and analytical with strong autonomous problem solving skills, we would like to hear from you.
