24.01.2022 Strata Embassy is proud to support causes that are important to us and our community of friends and clients. In the month of December we are donating to the Tamarama Surf Life Saving Club. Heading into Summer many Australians will take to the beach for all kinds of leisure activities, where volunteers from Surf Life Saving Clubs all around the country will be working hard to maintain beach safety. The Tamarama Branch has a vision to be the home of innovative lifesaving education and to foster a global community of vibrant beach goers who respect the ocean, which we can all support. https://www.tamaramaslsc.org/donate?recruiter_id=14006 #surf #leisure #summer #tamarama

16.01.2022 International Women's Day this year coincides with Strata Embassy's charitable donation for March to the CWA Sydney City Disaster Relief Fund. In a time of uncertainty as to whether your charitable dollar reaches people most in need, the CWA is at grass roots paying the household bills of those affected by disasters. For almost a century the CWA has been about extraordinary women doing what they can for communities around the country. Its not all jam and Jerusalem! Who knew... they even had a Sydney City branch? In fact, the Aims of the CWA per their website resonate with strata communities and the strata industry itself. (a) To bring all women and families together and form a network of support. (b) To provide a forum for the voice of all women in New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory. (c) To improve conditions and welfare of all women and families especially in country areas. (d) To support schemes which enhance the value of country living, especially health and educational facilities. (e) To encourage development in regional areas and to increase the viability of rural communities and the environment. (f) To provide a voice to Government at all levels. (g) To promote International goodwill friendship understanding and tolerance between all people. Finally, thank you to Vanessa Cabello for hosting a great IWD luncheon yesterday and being the strength behind our dedication to our work and the community. #IWD2020 #InternationalWomensDay #stratamanagement #strataembassy

12.01.2022 Summer in Australia means spending time in the pool, but when was the last time you stopped and assessed the safety measures for the pool you frequent. Whether living in an apartment complex, or in a house, all pools must be registered with NSW Swimming Pool Register at https://www.swimmingpoolregister.nsw.gov.au/ where further information can be found regarding pool safety. Additionally, Royal Life Saving Australia has a helpful guide for home pool safety and a checklist available at: https://www.royallifesaving.com.au//HomePool_A4Checklist20 Strata Embassy wishes our friends and clients a water-safe and happy Christmas period.

12.01.2022 Parsley sage rosemary & thyme... A Strata Embassy building displaying a bumper crop of fresh herb, chillies and capsicum from their roof top garden. Even edible flowers, fancy! A communal garden is one initiative to: - live more sustainable in strata; - reduce household waste; ... - learn about, and use, practical organic gardening methods; - bring the building community together. Do you have valuable underutilised common property at your building? We wonder what's on the menu this week? More information at: https://www.cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au//par/community-gardens

06.01.2022 Are you ready in the event of a fire? In the year 2017-18 NSW Fire and Rescue reported 5,709 structure fires, meaning house fires are more common than you might think. It’s possible the only time you consider fire safety is during the annual fire safety inspection which anyone who has lived in a strata building would be familiar with. Strata Embassy encourages all their clients to review their fire prevention measures, evacuation procedures and ensure a plan is in place should an emergency occur. You would be surprised how many occupants ignore the tones of the occupant warning system or fire alarm. https://www.fire.nsw.gov.au/page.php?id=293
