24.01.2022 As we knock the bails off and call stumps on a heck of a year, a very big thanks to all the clients, collaborators, colleagues and curious onlookers that allowed our little Swarm into your world in some way in 2020. We hope you have a restful, safe and refreshing festive season, that you come back to work with focused energy, and that the roads you choose to travel are pointed in the direction of your goals. (We'll be here to help you keep wheels aligned, tyres pumped and motion forward...) From our Swarm to yours, Merry Christmas! #Swarm2020

03.01.2022 As you mop the last morsels of work from 2020's disposable plate, here's a short message from the Swarm we hope you'll read and heed. Before or after you put the feet up and enjoy a much-needed spell, give us a shout and see how we might help you and yours out in 2021. But rest regardless. The new year will need it. From our quirky talented crew of 28 independent strategists, tacticians and professional supporters diverse, look after yourself this Christmas. (Big thanks to clever creative canary Deb Trebilcock for putting this together - turn your sound on!) #Swarm2020

02.01.2022 In such an odd, challenge-rich year, it's been a gift to have the benefit of a values-aligned, diversely-talented, individually-excellent crew of "Swarmers" to connect, chat and collaborate with. In part for the sense of "you're not alone". In part for the wisdom, experience and ideas they each bring. In part just to put a smile on the dial (happened twice this week, when we had a fun-in-lockdown virtual "Swarm Quiz", a little un-PC, but a hoot, and a healthy heart starting S...warm walk around Pakapakanthi this morning). Working with others, contributing to and leveraging the collective power of a crew, doesn't require the rigid architecture of 1900's organisational models. You can preserve independence and leverage scale, with the right folk, for the right reasons, via aligned values. A Friday toast to the Swarm - thanks for proving an ecosystemic concept, and for being rock stars! See more

02.01.2022 When I started consulting solo early December 15 years ago, the first thing I remember missing about being part of a branded team was a work Christmas show. Pretty small in the scheme of things, but at the end of a challenging weird year, to have a bunch you can momentarily let your hair and guard down with, toast successes, normalise challenges and just enjoy one another's company away from work... it helps (even for us introverts). This is a handful of the Swarm at our Xmas wrap last night. Lucky they're exceptionally good advisors, consultants and service providers, 'cause if they had to make a living shooting pool.... Thanks legends. Troy. #Swarm2020
