24.01.2022 5 beers in, # 1 was below expectations so we ditched it and changed the set up, # 2 a brown ale and nice to drink, # 3 a scotch ale and a nice easy drink, # 4 a wheat beer will be trying over the weekend and # 5 a bitter will be sampled as well. We expect they will be pretty good as they look and smell great.

24.01.2022 Recovery day today following a huge day yesterday, it was an awsome opportunity for us to put our BEER making skills to the test and it was very humbling to have our first beers enjoyed by so many people. I would like to extend a big thankyou to my Brother Dagz, Remy Brew, Gordon Purchase, Evan king, Joel King, our son Kyle and the half dozen lucky people hollidaying locally who were kind enough to hang around last night to help finish off the beers. You are all masters in the fine art of beer drinking. Cheers Guys.

18.01.2022 Thought i should share this as i (in case you havent noticed) have a soft spot for the humble country pub. I recently drove from near the South Aussie/Vic border back to Strath Creek via the back roads through St Arnaud and Bendigo and passed several pubs that had shut there doors and stopped in at a few still trading that were holding on - just. ( if your up Logan way stop in at the pub in the scrub and have a pot or more with the publican- Bloody Kieth) It was a fairly sim...alir story of how they (the publicans) would be better off by simply closing the doors and finding a job elsewhere, but they also understand the social significance and importance of there rolls as publican to the town . Most people dont realise that once an old pub closes, its a mammoth job trying to get it open again as generally in all cases everything needs to be upgraded to the current council requirement. Its not so easy to do on something thats seen out the best part of a century if not more. i guess its a bit like trying to re-register a T model ford and being told you need ABS,disc brakes and airbags etc.Luckily for towns like the one in this article somebody had the balls big and brassy enough to take on the challenge and won. We do as im sure they did constantly get feedback/shit from people saying they dont understand why we dont just open and do this or do that but seriously if we/they could we all would so give us a break instead of being all high and mighty!! were not taking our time just to piss you off. What i really want to say here is that we all need to support our local country pubs in a BIG way, and even better if you have nothing better to do on a weekend or afternoon just jump in the car and drive into the bush somewhere, youre sure to find a quaint old pub full of history that would love youre patronage. 17.01.2022 Hi everyone, I had the privilege of going to a craft beer event this week. Having a husband and a son as Brewers, over the past 12 months I have had a glimpse of the craft beer world and this week I have a new found appreciation for the Brewers that make one of our favourite beverages!! Have you ever thought about where your beer comes from? Being a Brewer is an art form. It takes dedication, persistence and lots of passion to create a beer that people can drink. Beer comes ...in over 120 styles and infinite variances on each style. *lager *pale ales *IPA *APA *red ales *porters *stouts And the list goes on....... As a Brewer you can add, takeaway and create until you have a beer that will excite the palettes of so many. So I guess what Im trying to say is that craft beer is here to stay. We have hundreds of breweries in Australia that are winning awards for there great beer, so get on board and support your local brewery. If your one of the many that stick to the same beer, next time you want a glass of that golden nectar, take a chance and try one of the many beers our great breweries in Australia offer. See more

14.01.2022 Today we hosted a private fundraising event. Although we still have a few hurdles to jump before we open our doors to the public, it gave us a taste of what is to come. We were limited to what we could do, but we got to work with a great bunch of people who were raising money for the Royal childrens hospital. Thank you Agron, it was an absolute pleasure dealing with you and may we have many more years of events together. I cant give everyone a date of opening, but I can tell you we are getting closer. A massive thanks to all that support us, it means a lot.
