25.01.2022 On Monday 16th of November the State Government mandated gyms and recreation centres to close, but have since clarified pools may remain open for exercise and hydrotherapy. As such, beginning Wednesday, 18 November the Strathalbyn pool is open for lap swimming only. Temporary Operating Hours... Monday to Friday 6am 8:30am & 3pm 7pm Weekends 7am Noon Fees Season pass holders can access the pool as per normal. Casual users will pay standard casual admission fees. Restrictions Change rooms are available, however, showers will be closed Adherence to 1 person per 4sq m and 1.5m physical distancing at all times Pools are only available for lane swimming (not recreational use). 23.01.2022 We are eagerly awaiting further direction from the SA Government before resuming recreational swimming and beginning swimming lessons. While the government has indicated that ‘community sport’ can resume on 1 December, the details that govern how this can be conducted and delivered has not yet been released. Once we receive the new Emergency Declaration and can confirm a restart date for these programs we will update Facebook and send out an email.... Thank you for your understanding and patience.

20.01.2022 With the weather warming up this week we'd like to remind families that the pool is only open for continuous lap swimming under the current state COVID-19 directive. Our Toddler pool remains closed to families and anyone utilising the 50m main pool must be lap swimming only. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and hope to reopen the pools for recreational swimming when it is safe to do so.

08.01.2022 We understand it’s a warm one today but kindly remind patrons that pools are NOT open for public access to recreational swimmers. We are able to offer continuous lap swimming and our Aqua Aerobics class (11am today). We would love to see you, and we value your business, but we may have to turn visitors away if you are not swimming for fitness or rehabilitation purposes. We can’t wait to see you again once these restrictions have been lifted.
