25.01.2022 Hi everyone Just wanted to jump on here and let you all know that we will be open Saturday, 24th October for the AFL grand final BUT we will be closing at 7pm so we can also enjoy the footy. We will also be closing on Wednesday, 28th October (Bendigo Cup) and will be returning back to normal on Thursday, 29th at 11am.... We look forward to seeing you all throughout the week Thanks, Nicko, Tools and staff P.S - GO THE TIGES

25.01.2022 Food for thought ....A cashless society means no cash. . Zero. . It doesn’t mean mostly cashless and you can still use a ‘wee bit of cash here & there’. Cashl...ess means fully digital, fully traceable, fully controlled. I think those who support a cashless society aren’t fully aware of what they are asking for. A cashless society means: * Your child can’t go & help the local farmer to earn a bit of cash. * No more cash slipped into the hands of a child from their grandparent when going on holidays. * No more money in birthday cards. * No more piggy banks for your child to collect pocket money & to learn about the value of earning. * No more cash for a rainy day fund or for that something special you have been putting $10 a week away for. * No more selling bits & pieces from your home that you no longer want/need for a bit of cash in return. * No more cash gifts from relatives or loved ones. What a cashless society does guarantee: * Banks have full control of every single cent you own. * Every transaction you make is recorded. * All your movements & actions are traceable. * Access to your money can be blocked at the click of a button when/if banks need ‘clarification’ from you which could take weeks, a hundred questions answered & five hundred passwords. * If your transactions are deemed in any way questionable, by those who create the questions, your money will be frozen, ‘for your own good’. And before anybody slams this post ... don’t go shooting the messenger .. I’m sharing it because maybe we all need to take off our blinkers. Forget about cash being dirty. Cash has been around for a very, very long time & it gives you control over how you trade with the world. It gives you independence. If you are a customer, pay with cash. If you are a shop owner, remove those ridiculous signs that ask people to pay by card. Cash is a legal tender, it is our right to pay with cash. Banks are making it increasingly difficult to lodge cash & that has nothing to do with a virus. Please, please stop believing everything you hear on the TV. Almost every single topic in today’s world is tainted with corruption & hidden agendas. Politics & greed is what is wrong with the world; not those who are trying to alert you to the reality. Please pay with cash & please say no to a cashless society while you still have a choice. Feel free to copy and paste - I did!

13.01.2022 Hi Everyone, just following up from our post last week. We have received our results and they have come back negative. We will be back Wednesday, 5th of August at 11am.... Just a few house keeping rules: There are to only be 4 people in the shop at a time. From 5pm onwards the door to enter the shop will be blocked by the register and you will be served from the door. We were only doing this from Friday through to Sunday but we have decided that we will now be doing this from Wednesday through to Sunday. If you do not have a mask you will not be served and turned away, we understand this might be unfair but we need to look after our staff and customers. Eftpos is also available, so if you do not have cash you can pay by card. We look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday and we just wanted to thank you all for your comments in our last post, it was very humbling to see and we appreciate all the love. Have a great night and we look forward to seeing you all throughout the week. Thanks, Nicko, Tools and staff XO

07.01.2022 Hi all, We hope you are all doing well and keeping safe. I'm sure all of you know that there are 3 schools in Bendigo that are closed due to positive cases of Coronavirus. ... Our daughter is a student at one of the campuses. To ensure the safety of our family, our staff and of course our customers we are taking precautionary measures and will be getting tested for the virus. We have young and old come through our shop everyday and we also have young and old that work at the shop and we want to do whats best for everyone. As we will be taking the test, we have been instructed to self isolate until we receive our results. Until we know the outcome of our results the shop will be closed until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause but at the end of the day we need to do what's best for our business, our family and the community. We hope to be back up and running in no time and we will keep you all updated as to when we will be back, so make sure you keep an eye on our page. 02.01.2022 Hi guys, Just wanted to make a quick post about a couple of things. We have had a lot of people asking if eftpos is available. We would just like to remind everyone that we do NOT have eftpos facilities available at the shop. We are a cash only business. ... If you need to get money out there is a Bendigo Bank ATM located near the chemist (beside the petrol station) or there is a multi ATM inside IGA (around the corner from the Tatts shop) We have also changed our trading hours slightly, we are now trading between 11am to 7:30pm until further notice. We also wanted to say a big thank you for your continuous support during the pandemic. It’s been extremely humbling to have so many of you continue to support us and we appreciate it more than you all know Stay safe, wash your hands and look out for each other. Cheers, Nicko, Tools and staff xx
