19.01.2022 Welcome to The 2016 BIG Workout <3 ARE YOU IN? In 2016, Strathfield South Public School is proud to host The Big Workout. The Big Workout will see our whole school community join together on Wednesday August 10 in a simultaneous mass workout on our school oval. Launched in conjunction with the 2016 Olympic Games and NSW Premiers Sporting Challenge, the Big Workout aims to help our community in pursuit of building a healthy and harmonious future for our children.... In providing healthy environments for our current generation of students, The Big Workout hopes to inspire those close to us to give generously. All money raised will assist our school to redevelop the Tennis Court into a modern multipurpose sporting and community facility. As The Big Workout is the school’s major fundraiser for 2016 all family and community members are kindly asked to support our campaign to the best of their

08.01.2022 The opening by Jessica Rowe of the 2016 Operation Art Touring Exhibition at the Art Gallery Society of NSW yesterday afternoon was a wonderful success. Visitor...s were warmly welcomed by Dr Michael Brand, Director of the Art Gallery Society of NSW. Photos here of Jessica with the ANSTO Senior Award Winner, James Smith from Homebush Boys High School and with Yehna Jeong from Strathfield South Public School. Congratulations to the students whose work is being exhibited. The exhibition continues daily until 13 March.
