25.01.2022 Three weeks until Book Week at SWSS! Start thinking about which book character your child might like to dress up as on Tuesday 20 October. Use the holidays to organise a costume! There are heaps of ideas on the Internet. Let your imagination go wild! It will be a fun filled week with activities, competitions and games for all our students. Looking forward to also seeing how creative our staff can be!

16.01.2022 Last week some of our classes sent virtual Christmas Cards to their teachers. Here is 2MB performing We Wish You A Merry Christmas on the boomwhackers. Lots of fun and a lot of concentration was required! We hope you enjoy it as much as Mrs Bestwick did!

14.01.2022 First Lego League Competition On 18 November 2020, students in our Year 6 Robotics Club participated in the First Lego League Competition. QUT ambassadors judged our SWSS team completing a number of challenges. Our students also had to explain/justify how they built and programmed their robot. Students have been attending robotic sessions all term. We are really impressed that QUT has awarded our students the 2020 ‘QUT - Caboolture Regional Motivate Award.’... A big shout out to Mr George who has provided ongoing coaching for these students. Congratulations SWSS! See more

13.01.2022 Don't forget our Book Week Dress Up Day is scheduled for Tuesday 20 October, 2020. Dress up as your favourite book character and join in all the Book Week fun during Week 3 of this term.

09.01.2022 It's that time of the year when we ask that all our library books be returned to the Resource Centre. Please check that students have also returned their 'Home Reading' books which are loaned out via the classroom.

08.01.2022 School will be closed on Monday 5 October as it is the Queen's Birthday holiday. School will resume on Tuesday 6 October, 2020. Stay safe and enjoy your long weekend.

06.01.2022 Yesterday our Year 6 captains completed a handover with our newly appointed 2021 leaders. Thank you to our School Captains, Student Representatives, Sports House Captains, French and Music Captains for leading our school in 2020. To all our Year 6 students, we wish you all the very best in your transition to high school. Farewell also to the families who will be leaving us. We wish our school community a wonderful and safe holiday.
