24.01.2022 Happy Mothers Day to our sensational physie mums! We thank you today and everyday for all you do for us- in physie and in life. Physie mums are a special breed- the bobby pin finding, leotard adjusting, encouraging, loving women who stand on the sidelines moving through every count alongside their daughters. We thank you for taking our nerves and turning them into big hugs on encouragement. We love our Strathpine Physie mums and we hope they have a fantastic day!

23.01.2022 Happy Father’s Day to our amazing group of physie dads! Covid has brought along lots of challenges in 2020 but with the help of our physie dads it’s been a little bit easier! From building in- home dance studios, setting up Zoom, attending online trivia nights and even filming the QLD portion of the 2020 BJP Physie Video, our physie dads have been along for the crazy Covid-Physie ride every step of the way and we couldn’t thank them enough for their time, energy and all around epic-ness! Three cheers to you!

I’m sure in March we wouldn’t have thought we would be looking back on a fantastic year of classes, competitions and club events but here we are! 5 CHAMPION TEAMS! 7/8 Years 9/10 Years ... 11/12 Years 15/1st Year Seniors Over 50/60 Ladies Plus third to the 13/14 Years and Novice Ladies and fifth to the Over 33 Ladies! 5 QLD STATE CHAMPIONS Sabrielle - 7 Years Georgie - 12 Years Ava - 1st Year Seniors Maddison- Under 33 Ladies Bronwyn- Over 60’s Ladies With another 8 state placegetters- Audrey 2nd, Gemma third, Sapphira, Niamh, Jillian, Chris and Gail 5th and Lyn 6th! But what this doesn’t capture is the laughter, encouragement, fun and excitement we shared in 2020! Braving Zoom and then tennis courts, music studios and tiny dance halls! We’ve conquered so much in 2020 and learnt that even the tiniest physie girl has a secret super hero cape! So rest up because 2021 will be here before you know it and as always, we plan to come back sparkling!!

15.01.2022 Georgie and Ava zoomed into BJP today for their rehearsal! The girls have been working so hard towards the big day and had a blast today with the BJP team! Not long to go now!

15.01.2022 We had a fabulously pink Spirit Week to celebrate our return to the hall! We are so proud of the incredible effort our members put in through online learning and outdoor classes! We think youve done a smashing job under these tricky circumstances- WELL DONE!

15.01.2022 What a night! Ava kicked off the night in the 15 years with a stunning performance that earned her the title of 15 Year National Champion! Mel took to the stage with strength and grace and performance beautifully in the 25-27 Year National Final and finale. Congratulations on not only two fantastic performances but a year of incredibly hard work and dedication!

14.01.2022 We are very proud that after the hard work and dedication from our teams in 2019, we have maintained our Junior A-Grade place in Queensland and our ladies are now in National A-Grade! Congratulations Team Strathpine!

02.01.2022 During these difficult times, physie has remained constant! We thank our members for their ongoing support of the club and the environment we aim to build! Our members are encouraging and resilient and we couldnt be prouder of how they manage every physie hurdle, including this one! This was recognised by one of our physie dads reflecting on his daughters experience: From a fathers point of view - Id just like to mention how amazingly supportive you all are to each other.... During dance classes, where someone is struggling; after competitions, where a dancer doesnt make the next round; if its someones birthday, a new leotard or hairstyle; or if your daughter is about to attend a DVD shoot - you all get together and show your amazing support. I dont think its really important to win, you certainly should try your hardest, but I think its far more important to be supportive, amazing and kind hearted friends. You are all amazing!
