22.01.2022 We are delighted to welcome our lovely new vet, Vicky. YAY! She is a very experienced vet with great people and pet skills. Sadly, Ruth has decided to retire in order to have more time to spend her children's inheritance on fun and travel.

21.01.2022 @Frankie_and_Cheza Cheza had his shots at the Vets today and Mum bought him a new toy as a reward for how brave he was!

19.01.2022 COVID 19. At this stage we are running as usual. If you feel unwell or uncomfortable coming into the vet surgery, please let us know when you call to make your appointment. Then you may call us as you arrive and, if necessary, we can help you outside. Please rest assured that we are doing everything we can to protect your families' health and our's in this anxious time. This includes regular disinfection of surfaces, door handles etc. Be safe. Be well. With love from the Strathpine Vet family to yours.

14.01.2022 HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY, ARCHIE! You are getting more handsome every day.

13.01.2022 Just thought I would share this with you for fun.

12.01.2022 Sharing is not always caring. With the changes to social distancing means we are at home with our pets a lot more recently. We at Strathpine Vet have also noticed a lot more upset tummies needing to visit us. Treats of fatty meats and off cuts can cause stomach pain, diarrhea or worse. Chocolate is toxic and affects the heart of dogs and cats. Never share or leave chocolate where your pets can find it.

11.01.2022 Happy Birthday, Mum from Archie. Happy Birthday, Liz from all the family at Strathpine Vet

07.01.2022 Tuesday Tip. Is your pets microchip up to date? It is only as good as the information on it if your furry family members get lost. If you can't remember what database your pets microchip is registered to go to www.petaddress.com.au enter the chip number and it will link you to the right one. Or pop in and see us and we can help get it sorted.

07.01.2022 Did you know that seahorses are actually terrible swimmers? They are in the top 10 slowest animals with a top speed of 150cm per hour.

07.01.2022 Seahorses propel themselves by using a small fin on their back that flutters up to 35 times per second. Even smaller pectoral fins located near the back of the head are used for steering.

01.01.2022 FOR YOUR PROTECTION, AND OURS, we are temporarily altering our work practices, starting on Tuesday 24th March. We will be operating two different and separate teams- morning and afternoon. The surgery will be closed between 1.15pm and 1.45pm in an attempt to reduce the potential for cross-contamination. For safety reasons, we will only allow one (1) person to accompany your pet during your vet visit. We apologise for any inconvenience and hope we can return to normal as soon as possible.

01.01.2022 We have adorable new toys in stock. Come and pick your favorite. Watch this space for new Christmas toys coming soon.
