As a member of the academy Tara will take part in the inducti...on program in January, have opportunities to train with AFLW clubs and have a high-performance camp and match in July. 16.01.2022 The merchandise stand will be open from 10am to midday tomorrow at the Triple M Park clubrooms. Samples will be available to try on with some items in stock and available to buy on the day. There will also be a number clearance items so get in quick.... Warmup top samples will also be available to try on but remains an order online item only. Please follow all COVID-19 protocols as directed when attending the clubrooms for the safety of everyone.

14.01.2022 Welcome to the Storm, Baxter Slater. Baxter is hard at it inside mid who doesn’t waste the ball and gives as much on the ground as he does off it. Most recently Baxter pulled on the famous jumper of NTFL powerhouse St. Mary’s but was also a BFNL Under 18 league Best & Fairest for Gisborne in their Premiership Season.... In case you haven’t already picked it up, Baxter comes to us through being close family friends of one of our other well known Storm families. Certainly no coercion going on here.

10.01.2022 Today marks 100 days to our first game of the 2021 season which also marks the commencement of what has became an annual tradition since our home first become known as Triple M Park, the Triple M Park Countdown to Round 1!!! After the 2020 season was crudely cut down before season start, we are thrilled to be hitting the reset button to start the clock counting down to what we foresee being a spectacular 2021 Season, kicking off with a stand alone Easter Weekend Blockbuster ...between the mighty Strathfieldsaye Storm and the Sandhurst Dragons at TRIPLE M PARK. (This is actually our Round 2 match brought forward. Round 1 officially kicks off the week after but let’s not get caught up on semantics here.) A massive thank you to Triple M 93.5 and the SCA group for their continued support of not just our club, but many other clubs, community groups and community events in our region. . . . 10.01.2022 The The Port Douglas Crocs have continued their great form and so has Riley Wilson (pictured), with 3 goals and a BOG performance at the weekend in their huge win against Centrals Trinity Beach, which featured another friend of the Storm, Michael Cooke, who was having his first run. Riley Clarke has also continued his good year with the Cairns Saints, booting 4 goals and featuring in the best in their win against Manunda. In other exciting news, our footy feast continues with three 2019 Premiership young guns currently in isolation in the NT, as they prepare to take part in the NTFL Season this summer. Bailey Henderson, Lachlan Wallace and Will Wallace will be playing for Lachie Sharps premiership team, the Nightcliff Tigers Football Club.

01.01.2022 It is with immense sadness the Strathfieldsaye FNC acknowledge the tragic passing of Kobi Hall. Kobi was an enthusiastic and talented young player including having been a part of the Bendigo Pioneers Under 16’s squad in 2020, was a member of our Under 14 premiership team in 2018, and was set to play with our Under 18’s next season. Our deepest sympathies, sincere thoughts and condolences are with Kobi’s family, friends and the community at this very sad time.... During this difficult time, our club Sports Chaplain, Andrew Johnston, has made himself available to talk to individuals or groups. Andrew is experienced in providing understanding and support to deal with grief and loss and can be contacted on 0447 818 630.
