20.01.2022 Long post but worth the read So this week I helped a long term client get into a new car. He had been speaking to a dealer who would not negotiate on price with him, seriously under valued his trade in and wouldnt provide him a quote on finance as they said they had to make a formal application to do that! Anyway, he called me for a payout on his car. I knew he wasnt happy when I gave it to him which is when he revealed what the dealer had valued the car at. He said there... would be a shortfall. We had a good chat and then I put him in contact with my car broker. Within 24hrs the broker had negotiated a deal on the car he wanted at a cheaper price, had the trade in taken car of leaving no shortfall and I had him approved on finance.
