25.01.2022 Tried to take these from the exact same spots as I did nine days previous and at the exact same time of the day. What a difference the course looks in this time. The rain was a welcome sight

23.01.2022 The club has its covid plan up in the notice board saying what we are allowed to do now. If you enter the club when playing competition golf or when the club is open there is the covid book which you need to write your name, mobile or contact number and what time you were there. This is in case there is ever a covid case linked to the club and you can be notified

23.01.2022 Holes 3 and 4 are officially open with pins in. Come and try them out, $10 green fees apply to non members, so cheap round of golf. Holes 5,6,7 and 16 won’t be too far away from being up and running as well.

20.01.2022 Hearing the steady rain on the roof, is not only awesome for tanks, gardens but also the golf course. This will get the fairways going so we have an awesome looking course running through town. Also to have a great course to have a social hit on for now

15.01.2022 Today saw some of the members out on the course for a busy bee top dressing the greens, getting them ready for the start of the season. Tomorrow will see some more of the greens being used

13.01.2022 Was a mild night so I did a small experiment on the 18th green. Tested out some night balls would been easier with a torch when hitting the ball for depth perception, and glow stick to mark the flag. It was semi moonlight

11.01.2022 Due the the current situation the Streaky Bay Golf Club is closed. People are still able to play golf in accordance to Golf SA’s rules. Our Grand Opening of greens on April 4 and season start is to be postponed until further notice. Stay well everyone.

04.01.2022 Well with now about an inch or 25mm or rain this week the course should take off and grow even more the next few days. This will make the fairways as green as the putting greens.
