25.01.2022 Another #streamteam Spring Clean today. This time for a house proud friend in Essendon. One of key areas to clean was a moss build up from the carport roof. Moss grows in areas untouched by sun, so it can develop quickly on tree-shaded and north-facing roofs. Spreading moss can quickly upholster roof surfaces, filling in voids between tiles allowing rainwater and other moisture to seep into a roofs structure and can cause decay and rot.

Heres an example of what can happen without the right technique. One of the best ways to prevent damage caused by algae is using a pressure washer and this case we also used Chlorine bleach, sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl).
