15.01.2022 The Logan Housing and Homeless Network LHHN) is a group of community agencies, government agencies and departments, local council and community members working together to address the issues of housing and homelessness in Logan. The Logan Homeless Connect Community Day is for those families individuals, youth and seniors (CALD, ATSI and PPIC) who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or just doing it tough to have a great day, access free resources, an array of services and b...e entertained by fabulous artists from the region. The event will provide: Free services including health care providers, housing services, hairdressers, food services, family services, wellbeing services and emergency relief providers Volunteers will be there on the day to welcome and assist the guests during the day A free hot breakfast and lunch will be provided Live performances during the day Outside activities include jumping castle, rock wall, badge-making, face painting, henna tattoos and balloon artistry.

Q: How long have you been a GP? A: I have been a General Practitioner for 25 years. I hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) from University of Alexandra, Egypt, 1982. Along with that, Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Australia in 2005. Q: What sets Good Health Medical Centre apart from other medical centres? A: Not only does Good Health Medical Centre provide exceptional patient care, we are open 8.30am - 5pm Monday - Friday and Saturdays from 9am - 1pm. We also provide bulk billing services. Q: What do you love most about your job? A: I love that I get to come to work every day and help my patients get the care they need. Q: What work do you do with the community? A: In an effort to provide more care to the community, I created Street Doctor in 2012, which is a mobile medical health service for Brisbane. This service allows for more accessible health care for the homeless communities in Brisbane and Logan. Along with Street Doctors, I started Australian After Hours Doctors to service the community after medical centres close. Patients who want to see a GP can call our service and arrange a home doctor visit. This organisation has grown to become one of Australias fastest growing medical deputising services.
